I don't think you are supposed to not feed it, butI tried all the kinds with my daughter and we mixed it with everything we could think of and she still hated it! We bought the jarred baby food that had rice cereal in it and she liked those. But we didn't feed her the stuff from the box.

Hailey did not like dry cerael no matter how I served it.. With formula, with fruit, with water... No go !!

She has never refused any of the other food I have feed her.

I bought jar cereal and feed her until she was 7 months old and decided she liked dry cereal now.

My daughter is 4 months also.. and her ped told me not to introduce cereal until 6 months at the earliest, because her stomach just isn't ready yet...

but you'll get mixed reviews on this

Yeah depends on the doctor and your child. MOST are recommending cereal at 4 months if your child is having a lot of formula/milk, and not introducing veggies or fruits until 6 months. This also happened to be what I followed. I waited until Brooklyn was eating TONS of milk during the day and then we introduce cereal.

damn everything is so confusing all doctors say different things!
Okay so this is what I did...
Cereal at 3 1/2 months...
fruits and veggis started at 4 months (She loves)
no more cereal until she is ready for it again...
So for now I will stick to fruits and vegs
