For all of you who have baby girls, this is embarassing for

my daughter is 7 weeks old. This question is kinda embarassing for me but im so confused. In her "pee pee" theres like this white gunky stuff there. Not like the discharge when theyre 1st born. like powder has gotten stuck in there. I cant get it out. I put the wipe or rag on my finger tip but my finger is too big to wipe her out. Its not "inside inside" just when you kinda open her up (since theres a lot of fat still there). The only thing small enough to wipe her out with would be a q-tip. Is the gunk normal? It doesnt smell or anything like an infection but if its supposed to be there, i dont wanna mess with it. but if its not supposed to be there, i dont want her to get an infection. She doesnt seem to care that its there. Please tell me if its normal or not and how do i clean it!? Thanks everyone!

I think wiping it a lil would be fine-sounds like it's powder that got caked up in there. No biggie-no worries

When it's time to wash the diaper area, remove her diaper and sponge off the skin on her belly and bottom. Usually babies' genitals need only gentle cleansing. For little girls, wash from the front to the back. Don't be concerned if you see a white discharge or vaginal bleeding. These are both normal for newborn girls, and the discharge does not need to be wiped completely away. Leave whatever does not come off with one gentle pass

Baby's are full of gunk in mysterious places. Do your best to clean it and keep and eye on it as time progresses. I am sure you will be able to get it all off.....just be gentle.
