Oh fun. We haven't set a date yet with ours, gives more time to plan. I'm thinking something outdoors if it isn't a cold time of year..

Yeah, I really do love meat... but I've just been feeling like I shouldn't eat it lately... because I've kind of been thinking about the spiritual side of the animal kingdom... and while I think that it is okay to eat animals (we are all part of this circular system) I feel that the way they are treated in the industrialized farming world is abhorrent.


Can you tell I watched a documentary that included a clip about how they hatch out baby chickens and grind up the unwanted rooster chicks while they are still alive?

I emailed that chic about the tv opportunity, this is what she said....

Hey Starsha,
Thanks so much for getting back in touch with me.

The show is a new one, it will be a bit similar to Honey Boo Boo, because the idea is to create an intimate portrait of someone's family.
I think they've decided on plus sized people because obesity is so much in the media and the idea is to show that there are big people out there who are happy with who they are and aren't desperate to be skinny, they want it to be positive and happy.

At the moment I am looking for people to take part in the show - I normally exchange a couple of emails, then give them a phone call and have a chat and see if they might be right for the show. That's all that's happening at the moment.
Filming is likely to take place later in the year if the show gets commissioned. They want to create the show around the family, so I guess the exact dates may well be negotiable.

And finally when they've picked the family the idea is to put cameras in their house for a month or so because they feel like in that way they get a better picture of the family.
