Low Grade Fever and Pain

Hi, sorry to bother everyone, but I'm a little concerned.

I'm 'newly' pregnant, though this is not my first pregnancy. I'm only 6 weeks and a few days.
Here's my issue....for nearly a week and a half, I have been running a low grade fever of 99.something, as high as 99.7 and it's only gone below twice, and that was morning time.

I have been feeling weak and overall nasty, with morning sickness and soreness. I haven't been spotting, but I do get pain down there, not localized, and made worse if I have to lift anything over 10 pounds...

I have a retroverted uterus and I'm not sure what complications that could cause pain-wise...
I don't have my FIRST prenatal appointment until Friday....What should I do?

A low grade fever is normal in pregnancy, so is the pain. It's ligament pain or your uterus stretching and growing. I know it seems early for that, but your baby will be doing a ton of growing in the first trimester. If your fever spikes up though, it is safe to take Tylenol. Let your OB know of this temp and the pains at your appointment. Just try to take it easy and stay calm  

Rest as much as you can. It's normal for your body temperature to rise a little during pregnancy. I wouldn't be concerned.

I would call and try to get in to see the doc sooner... I've heard of pregnant woemn running fevers, but it's never happened to me, and it is something that I would want to get checked out.

This has been a nightmare when I compare it, which I am learning, very quickly, NOT TO...LOL.

I will try to rest and relax, though I am not sure how well I will manage..I am a worrier.

The pain also worries me because I have a retroverted uterus. Apparently, pushing a 9 pound child out can cause it not to go back where it belongs....LOL

Yikes! Big baby,lol....My SIL has the same problem, both of hers were over 9 pounds. You are right to try not to compare. All 4 of mine have been different in soooo many ways,lol. But if the pain gets too bad, definately call your doc, and remember Tylenol is safe to take, you don't have to suffer through the pains.
