I have something called a co-sleeper
it is like a mini crib that attaches to the side of the bed.

They have something at target, that I'm about to get.  It goes on the bed and it has sides and a top and bottom so that the baby can sleep in bed with you but not get out.

I don't know how old your little one is but it might work.
