You not only missed the point of the thread.
You spouted off BS about guys wanting to be circumcised. I know 2 guys who aren't and i've actually asked them, and they both said there is no way they'd do it. They don't know what it's like to be circ'd and they would never do it as adults.
Now, my husband is cut, and wouldn't change it either.
Ya know why? Cause they don't know what the other is like!
And actually, this has been a very polite circumcision thread. No name calling, and certainly no telling others they're "bad people"

See, DH and I had talked about it (he actually asked ME if HE was circumcised) and he didn't care one way or another. After I showed him the video in the OP he said "Holy smurf, that's what they did to me"  and now he's not for it either. He doesn't care that HE is, but he said "I'll never let them do that to my son"

That video is from the 80s and no, they do not circumcise boys like this today. Its put up there just to scare moms.

that's why I'm in the nursery every day practically and I see it happen like this all the time? And I've worked in several different nurseries and it's all like this and babies react like that all the time.

we decided to let our son have his natural body how he was created.

That's how my husband was exactly. Obviously that's self-preservation...and it's best that they don't dwell on what was done to them any more than they have to in order to realize that it shouldn't be done to their babies. I of course had the sneaking suspicion that my DH does care, but he doesn't. He just wants what I want regarding the intact bodies of our children.

We know several men who DO dwell on the fact that they were circumcised. I understand the anger, but they can't fix it, the most they could do would be confront their parents, and most men would never ever do that. Maybe they should try to restore or speak on behalf on NOCIRC or something, but being angry and feeling victimized their whole lives doesn't serve them well.

My husband was with our son while it was done, he said he slept through the whole thing. He was still snoozing when brought back into the room.

the kid I know who had it done at 15 said it wasn't that bad but getting hard hurt if he wasn't hard it was fine..We have a vagina not a penis so how would we know what they feel???look what some woman do to themselves just to be pretty waxing, plastic surgery and diets ect.. I feel a woman judging circumcision is a hypocrite...

that's different..we don't get "cut". Guys don't get circumcised to look "pretty" their parents made that decision for them. Diets and waxing is totally different than getting your genital area cut as well, those 2 things always come back (Hair and Weight) but that skin doesn't grow back, unless you get reverse circumcision.

We make the decision to wax diet and get surgery for ourselves. Our parents don't decide for us which is what infant circumcision is. I'm not against circumcision. I'm against a parent making the decision to cut off part of her child's genitalia. If that child wants to do it when he can make that decision for himself then that it fine because it is his decision to make.

I had plastic surgery in there too what do you call a bood job or a tummy tuck...My friend had it done at 15 and any guy I asked if they are happy they had it done they say yes..Having hair ripped from your whowho is sick how many guy do you know that get their balls wax..I know girl who eat laxative to lose weight that's crazy they put their bodies in so much damage just to be skinny.. Like I said we don't have a penis how would we know how it feels!?!

I'll take that. Am I a hypocrite to believe in expanding gay rights to include all civil rights Americans enjoy? I'm not gay. Oh, and I believe abortion is bad for women too. But I've never had one. I don't have a penis, so I can't say that cutting off functional parts of it is wrong. Ok, genius.

What do you think they're gonna say? That they hate their circumcision, it makes them feel like not a whole man? NO they won't say that smurf to you or anyone. But some do feel that way.
