I'm SO new to this !! haha How does everyone think about the name Daryl for a girl? My father's namewas darrell craig & he passed away 7 years ago, this is my first child... im 21... ill be 22 in july & i really wanted to name my child after my dad somehow!! i think darrell for a boy is NOT my favorite.... kinda old but someone said whatabout for a girl ... like daryl hannah (from kill bill) & i hated it at first but its kinda growing on me! I just wanted to see what everyone else thought.... what would you think if u saw a little girl named daryl? now... im not having a girl for sure... i dont know what im having yet so i dunno?!?! i change my mind everyday!! & my boyfriend absoultly HATES the name ... even though it means so much to me to name it after him

You name your daughter whatever you like. However, I personally don't like the name for a girl...but you could use a variant or similiar name, like Darlene, Darlynn, or Darolynn.

I hate to say, but I'm not crazy about it either. But it's not up to us to like it.. it's up to YOU to like it.

OT but you're due on my birthday!   A leo baby, yay!

i think it's more feminine with two R's.
Darryl... it's really cute. I think it's funky, but not too weird.
Of course, there is always the old standby of using it as a middle name, then everyone's happy.

good luck!
