Very low HCG level

I had my first HCG test on Monday and it was only 46 and today was only 71, I should be almost 5 weeks and this seems really low to me. anyone, else experience low results?

If I remember correctly I was at 149 at 4 1/2 weeks at my docs.

i had low hcg levels at the start and had to keep going in every other day to make sure they were rising mine didnt exactly double but the doctors said as long as they keep going up good luck and i hope that you get some good news soon. 

The numbers should be doubling ever 24/48 hours. Sometimes they don't and everthing turns out ok. Have you had any bleeding? How come they are checking your HCG levels?

i remember being in the thousands by week 5. But everyone's HCG levels are different. You should ask your dr if things are ok. As long as they are going up....I think you're ok.

yea!!! i was right. i had an u/s at 5 wks and they saw the sac.  

When mine were that low, and not doubling completely, I ended up having a miscarriage. This time around at 4.5 weeks my first one was 173, my second (at 48 hours) was 493. Is it possible your dates are off?

This is my 4th pregnancy after 3 m/c's and the reason I worry is because all my other pregnancies my levels where much higher at this time. I did ovulate a couple of days later this time but would still expectmy levels to be a lot higher. I just don't want to have another m/c, but I'm trying to stay positive, just hoping someone out there had low levels and ended up ok. I go back on Monday to test again and if they keep rising everything should be ok....i hope.
