I CAN'T CONCENTRATE!!!!!

ok, I've decided to take this semester online. I seriously cannot motivate myself to do my work. There always seems to be an excuse. Plus, I am forgetting everything. I can't concentrate on the text reading and am having a really hard it absorbing the material. I'm sure it's just "baby-brain", but is there anyway at all to regain some braincells before the little one comes? HELP! My grades depend on it!

I totally feel ya on this! I started taking grad classes over the summer (before I knew I was preggo), and last semester was so challenging because I could never get myself to focus (I am also taking online courses). One thing I found that helps, is to designate a certain time of day where your schoolwork trumps everything else. I have a 2 1/2 year old, so I made his nap time school time for me. I only worked as long as he slept, but made sure I did it every day. If I had an assignment that required more time, I would try to work on it when my husband was home and my son was in bed. I found that working on it for short periods throughout the day made it seem less overwhelming and easier to focus on it. Hope this helps!  

Thanks! I have 2 school-aged kids and as soon as they get dropped off, I come home and take a nap. They are totally engrossed in a Disney movie at the moment and what am I doing? I should be working on Accouting, but this is more fun!

Tell me about it! I always find myself navigating away from my class's website to BG. It's so addicting and I have to know what is going on, and it's right there!
