See if you can invest in some prefolds for the newb (even pre-loved are great) they're very cost effective and then move onto the Sunbaby/Papoose pockets.

I just bought 10 last night for $38 shipped.

Although I waited until DS was 6 weeks before I started using cloth, but we'll be using cloth from the beginnig this time around.

Ditto. It's not something I do everyday but I've had no problems with it. None of my dipes have ever had probs.

Hell, I looked up those cloth diaper lending things. Applied for one, and I actually found another one in Greensboro, which is only 1 1/2 hours from me. Maybe they'd ship to me if I paid it. But I go to Greensboro on a pretty regular basis for the waterpark, so I could pick it up. AND they need volunteers, which I'd love to do regardless if I'm accepted as a lendee or not.

But FML, Justin had a meeting at work today. I guess I jinxed us when I posted about not being able to buy diapers. No clue, but apparently there's a damn good chance the plant he's working out will be shutting down within the year. JUST as he's about to be hired on as a full time, permanent employee, the plant of like 10 years is going to shut down.

I have some t-shirts and there's a community thing here where I can get some more for free, but I just need to print off a darn, good, cloth diaper pattern. >.< Ink is so expensive, man.
