Red skin blemishes- Should I be worried?

Ok here is the deal... in the beginning of my pregnancy I had oneblemish on the side of my nose and I guess it decided to take up residency because7 months later it is still here along with four other roommates in different areas of my face. Thank God for cover-up. I have never had zits or blemishes before I became pregnant, well I take that back,pre-period would always bless me with one or two but other then that I was blemish free. But somehow, during pregnancy, every blemish that I have had has turned red and decided to hang out for a whileand I am a little concerned about them sticking around after the baby is born. They almost look cancerous and I asked my doctor about them andshe said not to worry about them until after tha baby was born, ofcourse, no help to me now. Should I be worried? Does anyone have any advice or a miracle cream for me to use? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you, Amy

I don't really have advice but I am toitally going through the same thing!! I feel like I'm 15 again. Once one blemish goes away, another one is right there taking its place! Also, every spot on my face that I ever had a pimple or anything has turned red, so I have awful, uneven blotchy skin right now! I started using Cedaphyl (duno if the spelling is correct). Its really gentle, my doctor recommend it! But its nothing to worry about, its one of the great joys of pregnancy!!!

Where can I get Cedephyl and has it helped you with your unwanted vistors? You think they will leave after the baby? This is my first experience with all of the side affects of precnancy. Thank you for the support.

You can get it anywhere. CVS, target, walmart. Yes, its helped, seems like a lot of my blemishes are due to dry skin. This has moisturizers in it, i also use the lotion! Its just very mild and pregnancy makes your skin super sensitive so its perfect for the time being!!! My sister broke out pretty bad during her pregnancy as well, its hormones! FANTASTIC, right! Are you having a boy or a girl? I think the sex may affect the breakouts, or its one of those crazy old wives tales! Good luck, hope you try the cediphyl. It's great.


&& yes, it will go away after your hormones calm down and you get your own body back!!! = ) Just know that its all for the baby, so if you feel insecure blame it on the hormones.. thats what i do!!

We are having a boy. I love being pregnant but I am anxious to get back into my old clothes and to have my face back... with some work ofcourse. I wish it would be over night. All of these changeswill so beworth it. I am so excited for the experience of being a mother to begin. Thanks again! Amy

Thats funny, they say that with a boy is the worst!! I hear ya, well I'm not too far along yet so I haven't really gained too much weight but I can definitely feel it, no more cute low cute jeans & flat stomach!! = P
