What are your thoughts of the name Nevaeh?

i like it 

I know a little girl with that name. her parents picked it because it was Heaven spelled backwards. It is cute.

Heaven backwards. I think its a pretty name.

It's cut but I like the name Heaven better

It's a cute name, but it's getting more and more popular by the minute.

Obviously we aren't anywhere close to know what we are having. It's just that my hubby has known the boys name for years. But if it's a girl I get to name. So I'm trying to decide.

I really kinda like .. Nevaeh Leigh

I've been told ... "it sounds trashy" ... "it's not even a name" ... etc.

I couldn't believe I was getting that response either. Says alot about that particular forum if you ask me. They actually said it sounded hideous and wasn't pretty written or said aloud. I think they are wrong.

Whatever. Its not about what others say or how they feel. The decision is up to you and your man. I've gotten that negative backlash too. I've picked the name T'Kori Andru for my son, and many have nothing good to say about it. Fuck 'em tho. I love the name.

U r right. Think that your son's name is marvelous. So far my hubby hasn't said one thing or the other about it. I think he is letting it sink in.

Although he did tell me to ask his mother what she thought. I'm not concerned about what she thinks. I've already heard her complain about my newest neice's name "Haley".

Haley?! Really? Well, my MIL called and raised hell about the name. Seemingly implying that I thought it up and J (my hun) had nothing to do with it at all. In other words it sounded "black" or "ghetto" or whatever she was gettin at. Not that it matters what she thinks. Its sad in a way, but I don't like her anyways...  As you can tell from the pic, I'm black and my hun is Itallian/Hispanic. So what was I supposed to name him, Anthony Jose or something?   She wanted us to name him after his uncle that killed himself a while back. YEAH, I want to name my baby boy after your brother that committed suicide. I don't think so...

I've learned that whatever the MIL can find to complain about she will. It doesn't matter at all what she thinks. What is important is you & your hubby.

That's what I told myself, but being all pissy and horomonal that day, she didn't help, and I got upset about it. I'm fine now. Still don't really like her all that much..but at least I don't live with her, and she doesn'thave my cell humber so she can't call me either!!!!
