i have mine done...i've had no problems with it as of right now...sure i get a lil swollen down there due to extra blood flow, but nothing too irritating to it...and i'm due in 4 weeks

and bout keeping it in or taking it out for labor...personally, i'd rather take it out...cuz theres always that chance that when ur dialating and pushing that baby out, u will tear...its one thing to tear down towards ur butt, but another when its towards ur belly button...and i'd just rather have it out beforehand just in case i rip north instead of south

I have none...but..i would think you should take it off cause there is a big chance that you will rip...me...after labor with my son, i rip both south and north...and i got stitch only north...but there is still that chance and maybe you might not...cause some people dont rip...maybe cause the baby was too small even full term...so...

I had one for a few months. I had to take it out cause, quite frankly, if did nothing for me and got in the way. Sometimes it would be quite painful if my husband went down on me and pulled it the wrong way. Any of you had the same problem? I got it done in November and ended up taking it out in March a couple of years ago.

As for having one while pregnant, I don't think it would pose too much of a problem during the actual pregnancy, but you tend to swell down there. I'd be afraid of the hole stretching out because of that. Also, I would definately take it out close to that nine month mark. I wouldn't want to rip or stretch the hole out during labor.

then get one, depending on what you get, it will probably be the easiest piercing you get. It was for me anyways!

i have a regular hood piercing and i had no problems with it at all. i delivered vaginally and my doctor didnt even make me take it out. i have had it pierced since fall of 2005, and i just had my son last month. i know that when i had it for a year i was able to leave it out for at least 8 hours

yeah if you just get the hood pierced, it does not hurt that bad, and it only takes 2 weeks to heal. A belly button ring hurts more than this did. I don't know if that gives you any idea about the pain or not. If you want it, then you should get it!

I removed mine for exactly the same reason, sometimes it would bend in such a way and it hurt so bad. I really got bored with it too after a year.
