Yay! Dh is going to cause me to completely stress out over everything. So now he has decided to apply to another agency 3ish hours away. We can't leave here until at least March (we will have 5 years on here and thus be vested in the retirement plan). This means that we have to stay at our current house until then because if we sold it what would we do? We are not living in an apartment! Then if we take the house off of the market until the first of the year, what if we don't get it sold in time to move and buy a house where we are moving to? Am I over thinking all of this?? UGH!

Not overthinking at all... you are just trying to be a good momma and find the best place to live for your family...

Thanks!

I am waiting to go back to work. I was only supposed to work 10-6:30 today, but they have a new girl on closing from 4-8:30 that has only done one four hour shift EVER!!! It's a busy holiday weekend and I felt so bad for her cause she still doesn't know anything and will be alone. So, I offered to cover a girl's lunch then go home and come back and close with her. So, now I work til 8:30... not so bad I guess. I just knew if I were her I would be freaking out if I were left alone...

Aww Nessa thats good... saturday classses are so long and who wants to go to school on a saturday!! hehe

Kell that is so sweet of you!! Wanna come work for me too?? hehe

Well girlies... i am gonna look into a PCA job... i think its the lowest of teh nursing jobs but thats ok for now... anyways... here there is a VA center that will teach you and you take classes for 3 weeks and then they give you your license... and you make about $1,500 to $2,000 a month... thats really good for here!! the only downside is that the classes are from 8-4 everyday and i cant work here and there at the same time... buti KNOW for a fact that my boss would keep my spot until the classes are up... and the only other thing that sucks is that right now they are full so i have to wait til they do the next round of classes...

Boo for not being able to sleep, yay for getting stuff done!!!!

So we went and got paint yesterday. I settled on Gold buttercup... I love it! I also made sure Steve got everything he needed (paint brushes, rollers, etc) so it will be as easy as possible on him.... Can't wait to start setting everything up and organizing!!!

Oh, I invested in a rechargeable battery system last night. I got a charger that charges all types (AA, AAA, C, D, 9V) and 6 C batteries for $30 from amazon. Between the breast pump and all the other gadgets... bouncer seat, discovery gym, take along swing, etc... I think it will be worth it! Not to mention amazon was having a $10 off deal and free shipping.....

LOL, I guess when I said I'd get stuff done, reading an entire book in one sitting wasn't QUITE what I had in mind... haha.

That's a great deal - I was just thinking about all the batteries I'd need to buy in the next couple of days, I hadn'teven thought about achargeable system! Although in my experience, they're not the longest lastingbatteries in the world. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

From what I read... The "fast charging" ones don't last as long as the other, slower kind to charge, lol.... So I got the rayovac system that takes a little longer to charge, but all the customer reviews said the batteries last a while... I think it is worth a shot. I guess if it doesn't work, I have learned my lesson, lol...

What book did you read?

Good morning ladies...
Mary your breastpump needs batteries?? Mine just plugged right into the wall... hehe I had two though... one was power and the other was operated by hand that the nurse at the hospital gave me and honetly i LOVED that one like ten times better than the electric one... hehe but i guess its just personal preference....

Well, it has the "battery pack" option or the plug in option. I am sure at home I will just plug it into the wall, but when I am at work... there may be a time that I need to use it somewhere where a plug isn't accessible (like my car).... So yeah, that and all the kids toys (not to mention our TV remotes, wireless mouse, etc....) I decided to go for it....

Did you have problems with your milk supply when you went back to work? I am going to have alot of questions on this stuff in the near future, cause that is what I am currently reading/worrying about.... If you don't want to answer, I understand.

Oh ok... haha you know whats funny.. i have a plug in my car... i love it!! hehe Oh no the rechargable battery thing is a great idea... i used to have one but i think a house guest that we used to have stole it!! Sucker!! anyways yes almost everything needs batteries now days, most of devons toys with batteries have actually lasted until about a couple months ago... so about 2-3 years with most... unless it was a toy he was constantly playing with... but now almost all his toys need new batteries...

i dont mind answering questions about anything... and no i had no problems whatsoever with my milk supply when i went back to work... shoot i could have fed another kid if i had to... i always had plenty of milk for devon...
just as long as you keep pumping at work as often as you would feed the baby then you should be fine... thats what mainly keeps your milk supply where its suppose to be...

I have a plug in the car too, but the 9V adapter is an "accesory" and right now I am not planning on buying it, esp if the rechargeable battery idea works out. LOL.....

I am hoping that my ladies live up to my expecatations. I can't have big boobs for nothing, right???? LOL... So in the hosp were you really specific about him not getting bottles, pacifiers or anything like that??? That's what I have heard most moms that are having problems complain about... Also, when you were nursing early on, did you ever pump after? Some of the stuff I am reading suggests to get up your milk suplly you can pump for 5 mins on each breast after they are finished.... Seems like it would make sense to me, but it also seems like it could be a pain in the ass....

Oh, and never ever get white carpet. Ugh, I hate steam cleaning, but I got tired of looking at spots....
