re: EPIDURAL OR NATURAL

The pain sucks, but its not that bad. And as soon as the baby is out....there is no more pain. Three kids and all natural. Only because I am afraid to have a needle stuck in my back.....so I will deal with whatever pain they give me. Plus all my labors have been short (and have gotten shorter with each child)....so there would have been no time. My last labor (6 weeks ago) was only 22 minutes.....there definately would not have been time for medication. Give it a shot.....if it hurts to much.....scream for the epi. Best of luck.

i did it all NATURAL. i arrived at the hospital and immediately asked for the epi and the anastigyaligist was busy in the operating room i was 4 cm then 30 min later it was time to push and the stupid guy never showed up with my epi so i had to do it natural my baby was 4 pound 10 oz preemie at 34 weeks i cant even imagine a bigger baby. my adive get the epi asap before the anastialigest is busy in the O Room.

The epidural was my best friend!!!  and i will be getting it again

I have had one with each, my son was all natural. My second was epidural all the way, mostly because I just couldnt handle the pain. This one will be we will see when we get there.
All I can really say is epidural did make the pain alot less but not completely gone, but then your at the mercy of everyone around you because you cant feel or move your lower extermities.
