Today my weight-loss was on the back of my mind as I took my baby to the doctor to get every child's worst nightmare- shots. She had to get 5 and let me tell you...it was not a fun affair. Needless to say today my day has been spent tending to her and keeping her happy.

I managed to get in 25 minutes of Zumba today which is 5 minutes longer than the 20 minute express workout I usually do on "tough" days(I was doing the "Sculpt and Tone" DVD). I estimate I burned about 200 calories.

That's understandable. I have to take my toddler to the hospital for a procedure tomorrow. We have to be there at 6:30 a.m. so I won't be exercising tomorrow either. I don't think one day will hurt too bad. 200 calories is good for you though since you couldn't exercise.

That's crazy about your birthday!!! Zumba shipped so just waiting for it to get here. I'll let you know when. Great job on the weight loss!! Impel you what every pounds helps. I'm 5'2" and 144. My goal is 120 or 125. It's harder this time around. I blew up carrying a boy.

Oops I hit post. Lol anyway, I'm older now too. I'm 37 and it's a major difference on my metabolism. I need some motivation which your helping me out on that. I feel like your in my shoes.
My little boy pretty much does the same thing on sleep pattern too. I'm glad to know she still gets up at night and that you have more energy doing the workout. I can't wait.
Good job in this weeks weigh in and keep it up. I can't wait to see how you do next week.

Thanks for the support. It keeps me on track! I like to get good results to impress anyone that follows this lol.

One good thing about the Zumba DVDs I notice and I think you will too is that there is a 20 minute express workout. It is really helpful even though it is only 20 minutes you still get some workout for the day. I know if I didn't have a shorter workout I would skip days because sometimes the baby just won't let me get any alone time, I'm sure you feel the same, even more so with 3 kids. Plus, you could always do the 20 minute workout 2 times a day when you get a chance and it is almost as long as a full cardio workout. It was just something I thought of when I read your reply.

Good point! Right now little man is definitely a momma's boy. I just can't wait to get the videos. I'm thinking it will be here by Monday.

Did the 45 minute cardio workout yesterday. I'm a little sore today which is unusual but it isn't too bad. Haven't decided what to do today. Maybe cardio again if my leg can take it.

I feel you, the cardio kicked my butt today. I had to cancel some of my exercises because my legs were too sore to do it. I changed it out for upper body exercises and some boxing.

Yeah, when I first did the cardio I only did the first 20 minutes of it and finished the rest the next day. Did you still think it was fun?

lol I am not doing the zumba. I don't know if you were thinking that but I have been doing different cardi exercises that work my lower body and it was hard. I really don't have fun with it unless I put on some good music that gets me hyped up. lol

Today I took a Zumba break and did the elliptical trainer for 30 minutes on high intervals. It sure is boring compared to dancing with Zumba, but I feel like I need to keep my body "surprised" every now and then.

If I get time tonight I think I might do some basic things like crunches, push ups, leg lifts, planks, and some light weightlifting.

The only thing I have really been doing wrong is not getting enough sleep. I can't really help that much right now...wish the babe would sleep more. I am happy to have the extra energy from not eating like total crap and from exercise.

Not long now!

The last two days I have only done the 20 minute express. The motor on our baby swing stopped working so I haven't got much alone time the past few days. Hopefully it won't affect my weigh in this week!

Starting Weight(1/25): 173.8
Last Week's Weight(2/2): 171.2
Current Weight: 169.6
Pounds Lost: 1.6
Total Weight Lost: 4.2

While I lost less than last week I am still happy. This week was hard and finding time to workout was difficult so usually days consisted of only 20 minute workouts. Next week I am going to try harder to fit more into every day.

*Also...I thought I was going to take update pics today but really, 4.2 lbs is not that much change for me. I will probably do pics at 10 lbs or so. I think there needs to be enough change to see in the pics or it is kinda useless.
