Lucas just pulled up for the first time. He has only pulled up on me before so now he's made his way to the furniture. Granted he was going after one of the dog's toys that I had put up there to keep away from him lol, but it's still exciting!

Easton is getting better at it, but getting that belly off the floor would make things much simpler (sp?) for him.

Hiya ladies.  We were out of town this weekend, and didn't get home until last night around 8.  So then by the time we fed Vince and got him to bed, I was exhausted.  I was able to read a couple pages of what I missed, but didn't really catch up until today.

Meg- I love the slideshow siggy idea, and count me in (if I can get my hubby to set up a pic for me.  That's why I hardly have any in my profile.  He doesn't like photobucket or myspace, so I'm dependent on him to post pics for me.)

I didn't get anything from Vince or hubby for mother's day.     Jason feels really bad about it, so I think he's gonna try and do something to make it up to me.  I told him I didn't need a present since he just bought me a camera for my birthday, but it would've been nice if he'd done something special.

Umm.  We had Vince's 9 month checkup.  No shots!!!!  Yay.  He's still a little guy.  He's 18 lbs 10 ozs (30th percentile) and only 27 1/4 inches (which is 20th, but I think the nurse measured him wrong.)  She said he looks perfect, though.

Oh, and Danielle, trust me, I know how you feel.  Vince still isn't sleeping for anything at night.  Sometimes we're only up once, sometimes twice, sometimes four times.  And I don't know why.  I don't know if it's just tough because we just got over teething or what.  And he ends up in our bed at 6 or so every morning.  I think the sun coming up is waking him up.  Sigh.  I'm glad to hear that the tornado missed you, that must've been terrifying, and I bet Christina is right about Easton just needing to get the belly off the floor to be able to sit back up.

Sorry this is like a novel.  I had a lot of catching up to do.

I forgot to tell you all what Easton had for dinner! I made pasta and chicken with alfredo. So I tore him up some chicken and some pieces of pasta and he went to town. Didn't have aproblem at all chewing the chicken up. He's getting too big...

sorry about your rough night and morning Danielle. I feel you. This morning Kamran left Jamil on the bed and was going to take a shower, I couldn't even open my eyes. I told him to put him in the crib, and he was all pissy about it, but he played in there for 15 more minutes, so that made me happy...

Oh and the lacation consultant said you can take Claritin for allergies, as long as it dosent' have the Decongenstent (Sp?) They sell both. I keep forgetting to tell you, and buy myself some, because my allergies are in full forse. They get worse every year. I have random itchy spots all over. It is driving me NUTS! I've gotten it before, but usually I take benadryll and sleep, but I don't have that option anymore. Which really sucks!!!


Glad Easton did well with dinner, I made aspargus for lunch and he did great, so I gave him some more for dinner, and he kept choking on it, but I think he didn't want it and was doing it on purpose

It's scary to think that they're getting so big.  We spent the weekend at Jason's grandparents, and they wanted to talk about the first birthday party.  We will be having a cake.  We have some friends who have a little girl who is about a year and a half, and she wouldn't touch the cake at her birthday party.  It was actually kind of cute.  She didn't want to get dirty.  But I have pics of me at 1 with cake and icing smeared everywhere, and that's what I'm hoping for with Vince.

GO LUCAS!! Woo HOO Pulling up! I swear Jamil needed that motivation to start crawling. He couldn't get to where he wanted quick enough scooting on his butt. So he just took off!


I'm not sure what to block the tv stand with, he keeps hitting his head on it...  


Danielle, don't fell bad, just smother him in lots of Mommy love when you get home.

My niece was the same way.... but I just put her hands in it and smooshed it a little for her and then she went to town. My mom made her a little piggy cake, it was cute.

I'm definately going with baseball cake for Easton, it will be so easy to make. I might buy the cake for everyone else though.

hey everybody I just wanted to say that I made a discover yesterday. I see teeth FINALLY!!! But I think he is getting two at the same time. I see two little white spots on his gums side by side....so I better get to the store and get some orajel and teething tablets... so far that is what I have heard the most about.
