haha I knew your name silly! I'm glad that the doctors appt went good, he didn't quiet beat out my little chunker, but Easton does a few weeks on him... did the doc say anything about his eye? Are they concerned about it or just going to wait some more and see what happens?

Jesse James was born August 15th, at6 lbs even, 19 inches long. At his four month check, he was just about 11 lbs. Yes, he's a tiny peanut - but the Dr. says he's fine - just a small baby like all of our children. He still has his heart murmur - but doesn't need surgery, thankfully. Just regular checks every two months with his cardiologist at Children's. He rolls from his tummy to his back, and can almost roll over from back to tummy - just has to figure out where to put his arms. He laughs, smiles, squeals, and babbles - such a wonderful baby. And he still has tons of hair. The Dr. mentioned starting cereal with him - and he loves it. Right now I think he's teething - very crabby, his hands are always in his mouth, and very drooly. Hopefully this will soon pass, and he'll be a happy guy again. My name is Ann.

Easton was suppose to come out on the 15th, I was induced that morning. But he was a stubborn little thing. My actual due date was Aug 6th.

Jesse is too cute! What a tiny little bug.

Sara's due date was the 7th and she was a stubborn little thing as well. I was induced on the 12th, was in labor for two days, and finally had her by c-section on the 14th.

Ok, I come here alot but read more than anything and post randomly I guess. My name is Liz my son's name is Michele (wasn't trying to be different, it's my husband's name and Italian for Michael). He was born on August 26th. He was 3 weeks and 2 days early but weighed in at 7 punds 4 ounces! He weighed in at his 4 month dr. visit on December 27th at 16 1/2 pounds and 25 inches (I think, I have a bad memory). He has reached all his milestones except rolling over. He HATES tummy time but starting to except the fact that I'm going to keep putting him there. I breastfed for 6 weeks and gave up...I still feel terrible about it and if I had the time and energy I would spend it on trying to get my milk supply back. My son also has reflux (one of the reasons I gave up bf, I wasn't educated enough on the subject and thought I was making him sick). He is on zantax and gets cereal in all his bottles as per the doc. Other than that we haven't started solids, I'd like to wait untill 6 months.I cheated on Christmas though and gave him a taste of sweet potato  I'm a full time mom / part time soldier in the army reserves. My husband works too much to keep it that way...not sure if that's good or bad. That's about it, us in a nutshell.

Danyayelle- How is Easton sleeping? Is he getting any better for you?

I think part of the reason that Vince isn't sleeping is because he's been trying to roll over in his sleep. When I have him in bed in the morning, every once in a while, he'll turn on to his side, and then start screaming. I find him on his side almost every time he wakes up, and he's trying so hard while he's awake. He just can't seem to figure out how to get his arm out of the way.

Not any better, I read your post where someone replied about sleep regressions. Makes sense. He goes to bed around 8:30, sometimes earlier, and is up about every 30-45 minutes for atleast 1 1/2 hours. I just pat his butt and give him his paci. Once he is finally asleep he sleeps for three hours and then wakes to eat. Then goes right back to bed, sleeps three hours and then wakes to eat again. Then he naps on my bed while I get ready for work.

It's frustrating, but i'm so use to it now that I don't think I would be able to sleep all night if he did. haha

He has finally mastered rollingover! He is all over the place now, haha. It is so cute to see his chunky little butt rolling to get to a toy he wants or to get closer to me. Little man growing up... tear!

wonderful idea! My name is Angela, I had Nia on Aug.18th/07 but my EDD was Sept.2nd. She was exactly 2 weeks early, born the day I would have been 38 weeks but my water broke just about 3 days prior to that at 37.5 weeks and I had a rough waiting period worrying and being uncomfortable before I finally got induced at a different hospital. We breastfed for 3 months and I had to switch over to formula because she was having bad allergy symptoms and we had a hell of a time figuring out what it could have been that I was eating or what the problem was (still unsure to this day)... she is much happier now with no allergy symptoms and she talks a lot just like her mummy. She is a HUGE daddy's girl and milks her time with him for all that it's worth. Anyways that's enough for now haha. Nice to read about the rest of you and I hope to get to know you all better in the near future

Hi ladies. My name is Kim. Autumn was born Aug 27th weighing in at 8lbs 8oz and 19 1/4 inches. At her 4 month check up she was 17lbs and 26 ins. We have been breastfeeding since day 1 and have been doing great. Autumn is still refusing a bottle and paci. I am giving up on that. I will just continue untill she is on a sippy cup.
She can sit up for a few seconds before falling over but we keep trying. She can also lift her bottom up off the floor while on her tummy and scoot backwards. I am expecting to see some teeth soon the way she drools and is always chewing on stuff. I cant believe how quick they grow.

My name is Krysantha. My son was born August 17th, he was 5lbs 12 oz 16 1/2 inches. He was 1 month early and a NICU baby. He weighed in at 14lbs 4 oz 24 1/2 inches at his 4 month appointment. He is sitting (sometimes he flings himself and falls), he rolls from tummy to back and tries from back to tummy but can only get to his side then he gets tired and gives up. He stands if he can grab onto something. He is teething very badly, he is starting to cut his bottom teeth. He loves Bob the Builder... don't ask me why or how... This little boy is just growing up so fast!!

My name is Shaunna.
My son Carter Thomaswas born Aug 31 2007. ( 11 days over due)
He weighed8.9lbs and 20 inches in length.
He is 19 weeks old now and is weighing 16.7 lbs.
I have enjoyed every second I have spent with my son.
When I had my daughter ( 5 yrs ago) I took infancy for granted and let it pass me by. I was soo anxious for the next milestone. So this time I took it hour by hour and cherished every second and every moment.
Having a baby boy seemed so different from having a baby girl. My littl boy seems sweeter and is such a mamas boy. My daughter was only wanting her daddy. I feel closer to my son.
My little guy is teething already. My gosh! I cant remember how my life was without him .
Oh and I have been breast feeding since he was born =o)
