Kaidyn will be going for his 12 month visit in JANUARY. At least it isn't my fault, stupid insurance.

Hi everyone. I feel so bad that I never have time to read up on stuff in here or even stick around for long.

We have begun construction on our bathroom and guess what?! We have no toilet or shower!! Good thing the army has gotten me used to going in strange places! Haha seriously I'll leave the house and just stop by some store to go but in the middle of the night it looks like I'll be having to go outside! Good thing it should ony take a week or so and I have my sister living 5 minutes away for showers and stuff.

Oh No Jenalie.. I'm so sorry! This makes me so sad... I like Heathers idea's about the plant...

and I'm suppose to be cleaning or something today since I don't have Quinton but I did little of nothing and then we took a 3 hour nap.. So... Ihope to get some stuff done now...

I went shopping today and came home to my husband cleaning!   I couldn't believe it. Now I feel bad for spending as much as I did....well not really. I needed new pots and pans because all the ones I have are chipping off that non stick stuff so i went to Linens and Things and bought some.

Aren't they going out of business. You could justify spending money saying they were such a good deal.
Christina how is Jamil? Olivia is still 102 fever and runny nose. I hate when she is sick but she is such a cuddle bug when she is.

I spent Lucas' nap on the kitchen floor scrubbing the grout with a toothbrush, lol! I believe it was Danielle who was talking about ugly step-sistering it up the other day, yep that was me today!

Is anyone kid going on a eating strike? Kaidyn just will not eat anymore no matter what I try. Even yogurt, oranges and other foods he LOVES he will eat a bite or two and then want down. If I leave his food on the table in case he will come back later he ends up feeding it to the dog. Takes it off the plate and walks it to the dog. He drinks about 4-5 8 oz of milk a day right now only because he isn't eating much so I figure it is better for him to at least have milk. I know he will eat when he is hungry, but it is just weird he used to eat a ton and now pretty much nothing.

omg ally is making up drinks and her current one is lemon beer  shes giving emma water and telling her "do you like that baby its lemon beer" lol she needs to stay away from her uncle kevin hehe

I can't even begin to tell you what all of your responces have meant to me... I guess I need to also take into consideration that parents don't often point out the things their children CAN'T do, but rather what they can...

All of your responses were incredibly helpful...
Danielle - I was actually wondering myself if exposure to more kids more often would help. She isn't very secluded, though. We go on a playdate once a week (Wednesdays actually - that's why I posted and ran out lol, I was late). Joshy is 5 and Jackson is 17 months (she is totally enthralled with both of them and they fight over her attention all the time lol) and I also babysit two days of the week for two little girls, 4 and 2. I do think she'd do better to be around a lot of kids though... Maybe I need to do GROUP playdates or something... lol I don't know...

Clapping all the time is a GREAT idea! We usually just say "YAY!!!" when she does something good... actually, now that I think about it... when she was younger we did clap more, and it scared her (she would cry!), but hopefully she will have outgrown that now...



Anyway, I feel incredibly reassured! Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to respond... I actually am taking Scarlett to the doctor tomorrow because she's been fighting a cold for two weeks now!! (it started with a stuffy nose for a week, then that went away and she got a cough, and a couple days ago she started with a runny nose and STILL has the cough). Then tonight she broke out in a rash all on her diapered area and up her belly   So I plan to talk to the doctor about her development then as well.




And finally - Jenalei - I know we spoke breifly over the phone, but I am really, REALLY sorry!   Please keep us updated, and my prayers are with Greg and his cousins girls!

Poor girl I Hope she feels better soon..... and your right people do not talk about what there kids cant' do... and only what there good at lol...
