Quoting Kaidyn's Mommy:“ I'm Jenalei, Kaidyn was born on August 8 and was 9lb 10oz estimated to be another lb if he hadn't pooped ... [snip!] ... talks like crazy, he is on solids and loves peas and bananas andhe just startedbeing able to push up on his hands and feet.”

Yay for big babies! I can't believe he is sitting on his own already. And pushing up on his hands and FEET. Getting all grown up too fast.

I know it is crazy. I wasn't even working with him much on sitting maybe for a week we were really working on it and bam he could do it, but usually he would just sit on our lap and in his bebepod for the short amount of time he would tolerate it. He is getting to big to fast. I always feel like I never had a little baby that you just hold and cuddle because he came out so big, was holding his own head up, wanting to sit all the time and then wanting to stand at a month old. He can walk too if we hold onto his hands. He is to strong for his age, once he starts going I have a feeling he is going to be a little pest lol.

I'm Jaci, Jacob was born on Sept 5th. I don't know what he weighs right now but goingfor his 4 month Dr appt next week.
Still going strong on the breastfeeding. He won't take a bottle at all, he just likes mommy better, but I don't mind.
He rolled over twice by accident and hasn't really tried since. He loves laying on the floor and watching his big brother play. He still doesn't really like tummy time though. He's starting to laugh and he makes talking and cooing noises all the time.
Still wakes up to eat every 3-5 hours at night but he always goes right back to sleep.
He's got such a mild personality he's really a joy to have around.

I know.. I feel like I missed out on having a cuddly newborn as well. My son was holding his head up and flipping from tummy to back at 4-5 weeks. And now to see him scrunching to get to a toy he wants or seeing him flip from one end of the living room to another makes me sad to see how big he is getting.

Hey everyone! My name's Leah, I have a daughter Maya who was due on August 26th but decided she'd rather be a September baby. She was born September 4th at 8lb 3oz and 20.5in long. She just had her 4 month appointment and is 14lb 8oz and 24in long. She is 75% for weight and 50% for height, which amazes me because I was always less than 25% growing up! She's getting so big and so strong, it amazes me to see her grow but it makes me sad at the same time. She loves to sit up either in her bumbo or with somebody holding her hands but she can only do it herself for a second or two before tipping over haha. She is trying so hard to roll over but can't quite figure out she has to move her arm out of the way to get all the way over yet. She's very vocal and ALWAYS smiling! She loves anyone and everyone who will talk to her. I'd love to keep up with you guys to see how other babies her age are doing as well.

ok the stats are in... He weighs 17 lb 10.3 oz, and is 26.25 inches tall.. His head is only 16.75! So he is in the 90ith percentile for height and weight and 50 for head! LOL... We didn't get the shots today... We couldn't make up our mind and are having the doctor check out some things about the Thermisol before we do.. I know we will eventually, but feel safer waiting... and who wants a fussy baby...

It's so sad yet happy to see them devloping. I don't know about you, but because I'm breastfeeding I feel so proud inside when I see he has gained more weight, I grew him from the size of a bean, and now he's HUGE it's amazing to me! Today Jamil pushed up on his hands! I was soooo excited! but I know its one step closer to him being moble, and that I can wait for...

My name is Laura and it sounds like I've got the runt of the group so far. Vince was born on August 9th, and was only 5 lbs 11 ozs. In a way it's tough having such a small baby, because he's grown so fast. He's already up to 15 1/2 lbs, according to the bathroom scale. He was 15 lbs 4 ozs a month ago at his checkup. So he's gone from wearing preemie, to newborns, to 0-3 months, and now 3-6 month. I look back at his little itty bitty preemie outfits and can't believe that he was ever that small. But when he was first born, he swam even in his newborn outfits. He's just started rolling from tummy to back. He did it a couple times about a month ago, but couldn't seem to remember how. He can sit up by himself for a couple minutes at a time, as long as you're there to make sure he doesn't tip over. He can also stand up by himself if you prop his hands on the couch. He smiles at everyone, and I have the cutest video of him laughing while the dog barks.

On another note, he only woke up once last night (Thank God!) so I think that we may finally be working our way out of the four month sleep regression. I'm so glad that somebody told me about that, and I wish somebody would have warned me earlier.

haha too cute Mandee, she already loves to chat.

Well when I went to pick up Easton from the sitters today, I could hear him screaming from the parking lot. Apparently he cried the entire time he was there, from 4:15 to 5:45.

I felt so bad, but my MIL told me he was fine. She said he had a temperature earlier on in the day and was grumpy but that he was fine during the afternoon. Now I feel like poo b/c he was so unhappy at the sitters. I should have just left work early. Its times like this I hate being a working momma!
