Not too late at all. In fact, it can offer some valuable bonding time. On the OP of the other baby wearing thread listed in my OP is a description of all the benefits to baby wearing. I would def. recommend a moby as it will be the best on your back and technically there are no weight restrictions.

Yeah, once, my boob felt like it was in an awkward position hahaha. We nurse laying on our sides and it's been so comfy...but it makes me so sleepy, so I want to find out some new ways to nurse hands free!

those carriers you have listed, the bjorn and the other one , they do not position the baby's hips and legs correctly.
they just sorta hang there by their crotch!
i really really would not recommend one of those types of carriers.

i loved my sleepy wrap, but Teagan eventually started pushing outward in it b/c of how stretchy they are. We switched to a non stretchy wrap , which i also loved!
it was home made by Sabrina on here.
it took more practice to do but you get excellent wraps with the non stretchy ones.
i still have it , but since he's so big now it's harder to get him in.
So , we switched to a Mei Tai !!! omg i love love love it!!
Sharon made it for me on here! it's soooooo easy to get him on my back now all by myself, something i could never do with a wrap.
some people can but i couldn't

the mei tai is fantastic! and it can actually be used for a newborn, i've put a newborn in it before! but not like a cradle hold , only the kangaroo hold, upright kwim?

Yes, those carriers kinda suck IMO...well for your back at least. And they are bad for the baby if you put them in it forward facing. Some people like them though... that's why I'm trying to sell them! I thought the sleepy wrap looked cool, but the moby has enough play as it is. I wanna try the mei tai! I have a "bag of death" sling that you can actually have replaced with a knock off mei tai by infantino.

oh i dont do infantino brand. from what i've heard though the mei tais they have are pretty decent. i'd try it if you wanted to.
i would most def get rid of that bag of death you have! lmao. nice name for it!

Is the "bag of death" the infantino carrier that kind of looks like a swing? My friend gave me one of those right after my little girl was born, but I never used it because it didn't look safe. Then there was like a big recall because something like 3 babies had suffocated in that style. =( I didn't know there was any way to trade it in for something better.

I had an infantino easy rider that we did use though. I was just always super careful with it. She hated it when she was tiny and had to ride in it facing me, since she didn't have her head control. Once she was like 2-3 months she could hold her head up good and rode in it facing out and LOVED it. I never let her ride it too long since her legs were just dangling, and I was constantly checking to make sure she could breath. She would cry when I made her get out.

It had a 20lb weight limit, so now at 8 months we are trying to get the hang of a ring sling my friend let me borrow. It's an Over the Shoulder Baby Holder (LOL). The first time my kid wasn't crazy about it, but we adjusted some, and now she loves it. The same friend also let me borrow her Moby and gave me a wrap she had made. I haven't figured either of them out yet, though. I'm a little intimidated.

I was also looking at Lite-On-My-Shoulders Hybrid Ring Slings at slingcarrier.com (I believe that was the site), and I'm considering getting one. We do the hip position now. My baby is nosey, and would so not be down with riding facing me.

I need some moby tips. I'm following all the instructions but after about 15-30 minutes it's like the whole thing becomes too loose or something and he slips down and gets all bunched up and his head flops around. I don't know what I'm doing wrong? I try taking him out and redoing it but it still never ends up right not like the first time before he gets all bunched up.

SLEEPY WRAP!!!!!! Love the thing and it's rated to 50 pounds so, were I not pregnant, I could still be carrying my 2 year old (35 pounds)

I have two slings (Over The Shoulder Baby Holder and similar style) that I want to get rid of. I thought they would be more like the Maya but they didn't have enough adjustment for me. I will post pics later
this is what they are like (OTSBH is tan and the other is dark blue with white writing)this is the other style, it's NoJo brand by Dr. Sears
