I have no idea.
What's the scar? Would you post a pic?

Some scars ...there is NO chance of them ever fading, honestly.
Some....if they are going to fade..they'll fade anyway with time.

I will later. I don't have one uploaded to the computer right now. It's like a small gray circle though.. like the size of a pencil eraser. I've only had it for about 2 month's now.. It's from a skin abscess. I havent tried anything but I heard cocoa butter works on scars so might gve that a try for a couple weeks and see if it look's like its working but if not I really would like to try some kind of cream?

My plastic surgeon always recommends mederma. What are you trying to do with the scar?? make it less noticable? or is it red? or what?

I have keloid scars on my face from a car accident..and I've had 7 years of treatment to make them smaller and less red. and... I have laser treatments and steroid injections....

I wanted to make it less noticable because it's on that back of my upper theigh and with summer coming I wont feel comfortable in a bikini since it's a gray color! :/

well. the size of a pencil eraser sounds pretty small.. Mine all across my face..and my treatments have made a difference. if cost isn't a problem. Laser treatments can help.. Some insurances will pay for it. and if you don't have insurance.. its usually about 100-150 dollars per session.. if its that small.. it probably wouldn't take much.

I can show you the difference ints made in mine.. if you want to see.

The make up I use is called derma blend. I think it was about 80 bucks? but it came with all kinds of stuff.. lotion, make up remover and all different shade of the concealer.

the laser treatments are more bareable now. but a long time ago.. my scars were a lot more painful.. I have a lot of nerve damage.. so.. my experience probably isn't the same for everyone else. but a small scar like yours wouldn't take much.

I worked with a girl who had a birthmark from her hip bone to her knee..and she had laser treatments to have it removed.. her insurance covered it.. and She said it was a little painful.. (her scar was a lot bigger than yours too..) but.. they offer numbing cream and cool air.. to keep it from burning.
