That is good. I forgot a paci once when Lorelai had her shots. Luckly she wasn't too crazy.

We almost got hit by what I think was a drunk driver last night. He came off some road and had a stop sign...not only that...but his turn signal on. Well...Brock noticed that and was about to turn into the gas station when this idiots come flying through the stop sign. If Brock had been just a bit further up the fucker would have slammed into my side of the car. It made me so sick to my stomach because Lorelai sits behind me. I worried all night with "what ifs"....

I'm so excited you guys! I attempted to breastfeed to night with one of those supplemental nursing systems where there is a small tube attached to a container of formula that goes to the breast. (so you can give him milk at the nipple and still have him suck for stimulation). I works awesome! I had no clue how effective it is and basically it helps you get your milk to come back in or to increase milk supply if you are down. I am so excited cause he latched well, still got milk (formula), and still stimulated me to produce more prolactin at the same time!!! So cool! I got it free from the Lactation Consultant at the hospital. Em, if you are still interested in BFing...this really works and frankly I learned today from the LC that if you had an established milk flow for any amt of time that you can easily relactate. She said that some peoples milk supply does not dry up for years. She said that usually people are not actually dried us like they think, but that they just are not expressing it. Anyway- just wanted to let you know that this is an amazing system. Medela sells them as well if you do not have an CLC at your local hospital and want to get one. Anyway- I am so encouraged. With the fennugreek that I am taking and the Nifedipine to help with the circulation issues ... I am seeing some real potential here! yahoo!!

Oh BTW - this is the system that people who adopt and want to breastfeed use to produce prolactin and stimulate for breastfeeding even when there has been no pregnancy. I had no clue that people even did that, but evidently they do and it works!! So cool!

Here's the link for the system with Medela if you want to look into it. It is called Supplemental Nursing System (SNS) if you want to do some research. I understand how you feel about missing BFing. Cal is so aggressive that I thought he would not take this at all. He cries immediately if he does not get his bottle and a few days ago I put him to the breast thinking I just wanted to see what he did and if the Raynaud's was still there. Well it was and so no milk and extreme pain, but Cal was immediately pissed that I had no milk coming out like the bottle. Well with this system,... he was more than happy to suckle since he got milk and since he's so aggresive I think he actually liked working for it more than the playtex bottle nipple.LOL!

I am back. We walked down to this bar...listened to the band. My legs hurt from walking =[ I am gonna go to bed soon though.
