chapped lips

Both my boys have chapped upper lips...They aren't used to cold we just moved to. I've put vasaline on them but is there something better I should be using? I'm sure the pacifier doesn't help the little one. Thanks!!

You could try carmax?

You could try Carmex...but that tends to sting too much for lil ones if they already have chapped lips....my daughter used to get it a bit but i just make sure she has a plain lip chap on if and before we head out side....this keeps the cold wind off her lips. hope that helps...chapped lips suck!

I was always told not to put vaseline on chapped lips because it locks out moisture. Maybe just a little bit of chap stick? When Maias face was really dry I put lotion (Eucerin)all over her face and just at the start of her lips and it seemed to help her chapped lips too for some reason.

I know this sounds disgusting but you can put something called Bag Balm on it. You find it in the pet section of like Wal Mart. It is used for cow udders when they are dried out. My sister used it for chapped lips and diaper rash for all of her boys. It also works on cold sores and dry feet. I think it's the miracle balm
