Such a shame that the very people who want to abort for financial reasons are not able to...for financial reasons.

Is there any of other assistance that you can get? Housing, food, WIC? Or is adoption a possibility?

I'm sure there are options and I will get the food card and WIC but public housing around here is GHETTO and I'd rather live in a 1 bedroom than live in many of those areas. I can't adopt, too hard to go through 9 agonizing months of being imprisoned in your body, growing that bond and giving the baby up. I have decided that I'm going to tell the BD that I had an abortion (whenever he decides to come around he's playing his typical ignore game and it's all about him right now). And not tell anyone that it is his so that I can get Aid For Dependent Children. He won't help financially anyways and already owes over 10 grand for the 2 kids we have now. Sad, right?

It is sad. There is nothing i hate more than poverty.

Have you considered going to school? The Pell Grant and loans help a lot with living expenses. You can go online or physically and get day care help if you go physically. If there is anything I can help you with, let me know.

Thanks. I have a Bachelor's so I don't get grants, but I got laid off a few months back (get unemployment) and I'm back in school and getting loans. Every little bit helps.

this is very good info for everyone , i had help with my abortion i called this number because the price in florida automatically goes up to $1000 for an abortion if you have had a c section so i couldnt pay that. the number i called helped pay for most of it and really helped me out

i was looking online and saw that the abortion pill is a couple hundred dollars can you get funding for that? im going to try the morning after pill first because my test was negative but i havent had my period the whole month and its the end of the month so im going to see if that works first but if it doesnt can you get assistant for the abortion pill??????

this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. Perhaps we need to stop enabling people and make them responsible for their own actions and lives rather than handing everything to everyone! People need to get educated, get jobs and take care of themselves. Sorry....I just don't agree with it. There are many more important things that are in need of funding.
If I call any of the resources you mention will they help me financially.... to pay my hospital bills when I have my baby in January? Doubt it.....
