I'm 18 & a single mother of a little girl who will be one on the 16th .

I'm a single mom and I definitely need the support. This is my second pregnancy and i really didn't want to be "just another baby mother". What is it about the words "i'm pregnant" that just makes dudes change. We were in heaven just hrs prior to me finding out then when i did find out and told him i went from being his best friend to a b*tch(pardon) cuz i didn't believe in abortion!

I know excately what you mean. I'm not a single mom YET but I will be here soon. My (soon-to-be)husband is really controlling and he flips out about everything and I don't want that around my daughter. I don't know what happens when you tell guys you're pregnant but I seriously would like to know.

Im sorry you have to go thru that but im glad to know that ur smart and strong enough to get out of the situation b4 its to late. I wish the best for u and i send u all kinds of support.
Its like men have a chemical imbalance or a switch in their brain. I hate it with a passion. My dude is starting to come around very very very slowly. So all I can do for now is pray for the best.

yeah, he's 6,500 miles away, and he thinks that he can control what I can and cannot do/eat. He gets pissed off when I see my friend who has a 2 month old daughter. I don't what it is about men but military men are the worst! They treat you like you're below them and they act like they're a drill sergent. AGH! I'm so happy I'm getting this over with before my daughter gets here.

omg thats tru their are alotta military man in my family and i even dated one b4 and the are extremely controlling in the worst way almost abusive even. but on a more positive note how's your pregnancy coming along and have u picked out any names yet?

My pregnancy is going really well. I decided on the name Emily Gracelyn. And I can't wait until she gets here! I have an appointment on saturday for a 3D U/S! I'm so excited when I get them done I'll post them up here!

Single mom here too and I totally agree with you Jaime, I dont know if I am having a boy or girl yet but either way it will be alot better off with out having the lies and broken promises.
