nuva ring

i am not good with pills and taking them everday at the right time..absolutley horrible at it! i really hate birth control but getting pregnant anytime soon scares the crap out of me lol. i know a few people on here got pregnant on it lol..but wondering what your guys' experiances were with it..is it uncomfortable? etc etc
i know theres the patch too..but i really dont want to use it.

Have you looked into IUD's? I know 3 chicks, personally, who got prego on the nuva ring.

I almost got an IUD but I chickened out.. There's only like a one in a billion chance of it getting lodged into your body but the thought!! Agh!! Scared the crap out of me. I was horrible about taking the pill too so I ended up just using condoms for forever.

yeah the IUD freaks me out a little too..

i wish i could just trust condoms lol..

I like the Nuva Ring. I used it for a little under a year, worked great for me. I plan on getting a IUD after I have my baby but until I get that I plan on using the Nuva Ring. I like it because you only have to change it 1 a month and its undetectable. It feels fine, no discomforts. I recommend it.

I use it. It's not uncomfortable. I forget its there. And I have been on it for 4 months and no baby yet LOL.

really? And they used it correctly? I am on it now...it'll be the first time I take it out on Sunday. I could still get pregnant? WOOHOO! lol

ok i have a quewtion about nuva ring!!! i am on it.... i was supposed to take it out on the 30th but forgot!!! and i just took it out last night... am i messed up now?... should i just put it back in on sunday?.... i thought i was suppose to take it out this next sunday and not last!

Your fine just put it back in on Sunday like you would normally.

I am on it and I like it. Before this I have never been on any other bc so I don't have anything to compair it to, but I like it. I was afraid I would forget to take the pills when I needed to so I decided to go with this. I can't feel it at all and my husband also says he can't feel it while having sex. I have heard of it falling out in some people no matter how far they put it in, so you would just have to try it and see if it does or not.

One of them admits that it came out and she didn't put it back in until like 6 hours and she's prego... but the other two said they followed the instructions perfectly and still ended up prego...

it worked great for me but I kept it in even during sex so maybe they took it out even if they put it back in at the time they were suppose to but I loved it had no side affects so I didn't gain weight or anything else

I use a diaphram and love it...it takes the spontinaety out of it, but get real...who has throws of passion anymore

I so totally loved my NuvaRing!!! Never got pregnant on it in almost 3 years and when I wanted to get pregnant, there was no waiting! I to am horrible with pills, the shot made me bleed for weeks on end, the patch is only for thin ladies and now has a lawsuit pending, and the IUD,.......((((shivers)))) heard so many horror stories!
My ring never came out even though I have a low lying uterus, hubby never knew it was there unless.........well to be quite blunt unless he was using his fingers..........even then it was nominal. I didn't gain weight, have headaches, or breakout!
lol I'm like a poster child for it!
