My Thursday Afternoon...

So, being that I woke up this morning feeling much better than yesterday I decided I would venture to the mall to go to Victorias Secret Semi-Annual sale. Well, let me tell you, thank goodness I was alone because I dont think I would any longer have any friends after this short trip! Well, as soon as I walk into the mall (which is about 7 minutes from my house) I immediately have to use the restroom (I have no idea where it is so I have to walk around to find one), even though I had just gone before I left and had nothing to drink in the past half hour or so. Well, i finally find one after feeling like I was going to wet myself for 10 minutes! So, I finally make it so VS and it is super packed with herds of middle and high school girls, and since its a sale, the store is an absolute mess and nothing is where it is supposed to be. But I decided to just grin and bear it because I have a $100 gift card and feel like buying myself something nice. I am seriously surprised I did not get into a fight in there! I was constantly being bumped, shoved, walked into, etc. by all these decked out (hair perfect, about10 lbs of makeup on)teens who would then look at me like it was my fault because I was in their way! At this point I wish I had a sign that read " I am pregnant and VERY hormonal. PLEASE stay at least 50 feet away..." But instead, I took deep breaths and said "excuse me" and "sorry" to every bump and nudge I got. Oh, and not to mention, is was about 98* in the store, and I swear I felt as ifVS wanted you to just wear their undergarments around the store instead of clothes...I was sweating bullets! Anyways, $119 later (I got a pair of sweatpants, sweatshirt, tank top, long sleeve shirt, 4 pairs of underwear and a little something for my boyfriend *wink wink*) I finally made it out of, what I had determined was, hell. Well, to make things better, I turned the wrong way out of the store and ended up at the food court (darn!). So, of course I was starving at this point (even though I had ate before I left for the mall), and got a gyro (to go, because there was no way I was going to let all these strangers watch me shove this piece of heaven into my mouth)! After eating in the car, and spilling about half of it on my new North Face fleece, I ran into Bed Bath and Beyond for a whole 5 minutes. I get back in the car and head home...and what is going through my mind? "What am I going to make to eat when I get home?" I JUST ATE! AHH!! I love being pregnant!
Sorry this was so long, just needed to get it all out!!!!

Well hey, at least you gota bunch of stuff for VS for the price you paid! I love their semi-annual sales!

Damn! i wanted to go to that sale sooo bad, but the experience you had im glad i didnt. Ive been stuck at work all day since 9am and am bored out of my mind!!! All i can think about is eating lol. 1 more hour and my preggo ass is out of here to go home and make sum tostadas!! MMMMM...........

Not sure what Im going to make yet....I dont really want anything I have. We had pot roast for dinner last night, and I really wish I would have saved some, but I ate it all...so who knows!

Well at least you got some good stuff at VS. I think I might head out there. My work is attached to a mall sorta.

lol..mine was fine so far...I am glad that yours was so eventful! I hate rude people!! I want to scream too and wear a sign just like yours!! I ran to walmart and Michaels (my work) with my friend janet and we are about to get out of the car at Michael's and this lady pulls in next to us as I was about to open the door on the passenger side..thank god I was looking otherwise I would have taken Janets door off..and then this lady doesn't even look to her left (wehere we are) and swings her door open, nearly hits janets car door, and very rudly says "OOPS."...uh you freaking bitch, excuse my language...and then she gets out of the car and drops her keys and takes 8 minutes to ppick them up! i was about to let her have it!!!!!!

Your story was very entertaining! You should be a writer!! I loved it!! I am making cheeseburgers and homemade french fries for dinner...smells good so far!!

Yum...a cheeseburger sounds good...but not fast food...a big, juicy, grilled one! Too bad I have no hamburger meat...=(

Yea I am not real big on fast food burgers. Gotta be homemade for me!!

For those that care...i decided to make a veggie quesadilla. Michael was making a chicken one, and it looked delicious, minus the chicken. For some reason, I am repulsed by chicken since I became pregnant! So, in my quesa, i have onions, mushrooms, red and green pepper, and cheese...kinda boring, but it smells yummy!

i couldn't eat ground meat or smell it or a grill for that matter til i was 6 months pregnant and chicken repulsed me too!!

Ugh, everything about chicken makes me gag...the smell, the sight, the mentioning, the thinking...YUCK. It makes me gag just typing about it!
