very scared

I found out today that I am going to have to see a specialist, my placenta is three times its normal size, which I was hoping for just being big but it is not just big ther is something really wrong. I am scared even with this being my third child. I will not find out the apt. date til tom. Tracie

well found out that my apt, for the specialist and another sono is thurs. so guess I will have to deal with the lack of sleep andquestioning til then. just please keep sierrah in your thoughts, thank you Tracie

Wellll we found out that Sierrah has a cyst in her brain the size of a quarter located where the spinal fluid is located. I will know today if the cyst is going to go away or if I need to worry about downs or some other form of autism, the specialist said it is more comon than not these days. she is 12 oz and has all her fingers and toes even opened her hand up for us a few times to she is right on scheduel if not a little ahead. awwe good luck hun. sometimes those things go away miraculously, and if it is autism, thats not so bad, really. they can work with them so much more now adays.

thank you for your replies you are right they have so much technology, no matter what she will be loved and spoiled, daddy is soooo excited just to have a little girl.

Another sono on the 31st wish Sierrah luck lets hope the cyst is smaller.But she is sooooo active expecially when I am trying to sleep, likes to kick daddy so that is allways re-assuring, Tracie

I hope everything turns out ok for you. My baby has had dilation in her brain since 16 weeks, so I've had 12 ultrasounds and other tests. My perinatologist told me technology and ultrasounds are so much more advanced now that they notice stuff they never would have noticed before. Things that are normal or resolve themselves show up that they didn't know about with old ultrasound technology. Hopefully your baby's cyst is one of those things! Good Luck!
