Im stupid because i got back together with an ex of mine and we did the deed together since ive been pregnant now im really depressed because i just found out thru his friend a whle bunch of crap including he supposedly has herpese, i dont know what to do to findout or anything please anyone help me!

If you suspect that you might have herpes.....go to you doctor or local clinic and get a STD test done. Herpes is something that can be passed to the baby....and if you have a breakout at the time of labor they usually have to do a c-section to protect the baby.

Go get checked out by your doctor! If you have it, they will need to know that! I don't think it's something that can be passed on in utero, but I have heard of c-sections happening bc the mom was having an outbreak when it came time to deliver. Good Luck.

Request a test and remember it's not the end of the world.

I dont really know alot about herpees, but My doctor checked me out on my 12 week app. complete pap and blood test. I think most doctors do, I would call them and let them know they will probably want you to come in.

Most doctors do not test for herpes, you must specifically ask for the test. It is NOT a routine test, which is why MOST people that have it DON"T KNOW. Sorry for the caps, but I had to find out the hard way. As long as you don't have active lesions during labor, you can still deliver vaginally, Don't go on Suppressive Therapy unless ABSOLUTELY necessary.

Also, not to be rude hon, but why are you having unprotected sex with someone while you are pregnant? You're not only risking your life, you are risking the life of your baby.

Herpes is not something to toy with. You need to go to the doc & stop having unprotected sex.

next time you go to a check-up tell her your story and your concerns and ask her/him if you can have a blood test again.

tidbit of info: dont sleep with anyone while preggera unless you know you are going to be with that person for a while or that is your b/f. i just think its selfish to your baby. im really not trying to be mean though. just next time think it out first.go to the doc im sure you are fine but double check just in case

Why would you back to an ex when youre preggo by your current boyfriend anyways??? At least thats what im understanding since your profile says your with the dad.......

Um..well if you think you have herpes go get it checked out...seems like the most logical thing to do??

And as Smashen said...why did you get back together with an ex if you're currently with the father!? Sounds kinda fishy...
