Is it possible to feel the baby's heartbeat through your belly? I swear both Chance and I felt it last night. He got all excited and kept his hand on my belly for 10 minutes and every time I would try and say something he would go "SHHHH! I cant feel it when you talk!"

Also, I know its normal to feel dizzy but lately Ive been really dizzy. I actually fell down the other day (On my butt!) I tried to call the doctor but he was closed yesterday and today. Is it normal to feel that dizzy?

Awe that is sweet. I am starting nursing school tomorrow and got a stethoscope for Christmas, the first thing my hubby did was try to listen to the baby's heartbeat. It was so cute.

it's not the babys heartbeat you feel it's your own, because of the veins being compressed.

When I was pregnant I often got hot flashes, then felt dizzy and threw up. It was just the way my nausea worked... hope you feel better. That's no fun!

The doc told me u cant feel thier heartbeat.. its either yours or he/she has hiccups. what do they feel like?

well its not mine. Cause i put my hand on my chest and mine was muuuuch slower. I thought you couldnt feel the hiccups til a little later? Im not sure  

I know the distinction of when she hits me with a hand and when she hits me with a foot and its not either one of though. Hmm.

I didnt think it was possible to feel it through your belly either but wasnt sure, thats why i asked

Than its hiccups probably. The reason you really cant tell what it is is because its so early.. as yuo get further along youll totally recognize them as hiccups and they get kind of annoying. my boy gets them like twice a day. i dont know why.
