Quoting MommaMary ~GS~: Your not rambling, lol, I appreciate your input. I am not going to be all anal about it, but the thing ... [snip!] ... go to sleep and put her down. Tonights goal, no sleeping on mommy! Now I am the one rambling, can you tell I am tired? LOL...LOL that's ok. I always knew I wanted my kids to be on a schedule but I know he's still young and that's why I'm still flexable. My son slept in a cradle in our room until he was 10wks old. We were going to be going home to visit family and I wanted to make sure he was in his own bed by then since I didn't have a cradle at my parents house. He did just fine switching over and luckily while we were home, he started only waking up once a night. That was probably the part that sucked the most, having to leave the room to nurse him. I like my sleep. LOL
Quoting Choking-the-Breeze: Ok girlies I need some words of wisdom My 9 week old daughter is exclusively breast fed . I have breastfed ... [snip!] ... ... and I suppose thats what it could be , but why didn't it bother her until 6 days ago ? What can I do to correct this ?
Quoting MandiJo: OK girls. My son is almost four months. He is on the boob juice but I pump for work etc. Lately he isn't ... [snip!] ... basically playing with his food! I know his teeth are starting to bother him, but I don't think thats it. Any words of advice?I think everybody is going through this now. LOL a bunch of people, including myself, are going through it. Try BFing in a dark quiet room so that he's not distracted. If that doesn't work, from what I hear, it's a phase that will pass with time. Good luck!
Quoting mamacj: How old is he? It sounds like a growth spurt. What is the average timeline for newborn growth spurts? My baby is 9 weeks and it feels like he's had one since he's been born! He's averaged a weight gain of 9.4 ounces per week since his 2 week checkup. He routinely eats every 2 hours during the day sometimes every 1 1/2 hours, but at night sometimes he'll go up to 4 or 5 hours.

Quoting [Kat♡Emmie]: How long does rock hard frozen BM take to thaw in the fridge? And it's good for 24 hours after you put it in the fridge or after it's thawed?Anywhere from 12 hours on depending on the fridge temp and where it is in the fridge, how many ounces, the container it's in, etc. I've had a few still be frozen 18-19 hours later. Partially of course. I've always wondered the same thing but I assume they mean from the time it's removed from the freezer because as oon as it starts to warm bacteria can start to grow again.

Most younger babies eat every 2 hours, and you're lucky to have that long stretch at night! I think my son started spacing out his feedings a little more around 3 months of age.
Quoting trinimama: Is it wrong to mix fruits and breastmilk? The lady at the nursery was saying not to do thatI never have mixed the two, except maybe I added some to bananas a few times. But there is nothing wrong with mixing the two. I wonder why she would think that.
