if people ask me how long I'll BF for, I always just say "as long as he wants to". So far we are at 24m (25m tomorrow) and counting. =D

I get embarrassed to get my boob out to feed in front of others who i'm not that close with. Silly i know, but i just feel weird to do it. I don't mind in front of friends, and my family etc. So its easier to just go into another room if i'm at someone's house etc. Wish i had the confidence to just do it wherever!

Can you use a cover so you aren't shamed into another room? I use my son's sling as a cover, as well as our moby sometimes(makes a great lightweight shawl style cover).

I might try it out, as when she is actually feeding, my boob isn't out anyway and my top usually covers me up. I will have to try something, i might try the moby actually, thanks for that idea

Dang 3 months is another growth spurt!! My 11 week old has been so damn crabby lately I seem to just stick him to the boob which calms him and I feel like we are doing it every 2 hours!!

I also get pressure from my MIL "you should give him rice cereal to make him sleep through the night" UM NO I am the one that get up not dad and I am ok with getting up if he is hungry SMH!!

Now though I am interviewing for jobs which is nerve wraking enough but I am scared what that will do to my supply?!

I used to feel like that too....Just do it!! now that you are farther along and much better then you were when you stared in my mind I have gotten pretty slick at feeding him and there might just be a second of boob flash if any now, it does get easier!

every 2 hours? that's not bad at all! lol

I nursed my son at least every hour until he was 8m old (and then I stopped keeping track).

yep, he was EBF for 12m, so that was his only source of "food and water" as well, so maybe that made a difference. Luckily he was a fast nurser though and rarely nursed longer than 5 min, except maybe right before bed.

Chloe has been refusing to nurse all morning. If I try, she turns her head away. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but all day yesterday and all this morning she has been so sleepy. She cries and cries and I end up giving her a pacifier and she pretty much immediately closes her eyes and goes right to sleep. I wish I knew what was going on....Anyone have any clue? She turned three months old on the 14th. TIA

Check her nose. Does she seem stopped up? LO did that when he had a stuffed nose. He couldn't nurse, but could suck on a paci.

I was wondering if u drink a cup of coffee in the morning, will the caffine go into the breast milk or give the baby gas or w stomach ache? I've been so tired from not getting any sleep and I think it would help during the day but I dont want to drink it if it will bother my son.

Another question.... Does anyone's LO smile when they are done eating? Mine does I think its so cute!

One more question "/ sorry. My son has been spitting up a lot and been very gassy right after eating. Does anyone know why or what I could do to help?

It depends on the baby with the coffee. I won't drink more than a cup..and I usually only have that every once in awhile. That's just my preference. Caffeine does pass into the milk.

Mine smiles when she sees the booby, while she's eating, and after she's done.

Are you burping? Reflux could be a possibility if you're burping after each boob. Keep LO upright for awhile after eating and see if that helps.
