When Daisy was teething, it would bother her at night more than anything! Those teething tableets are a Godsend! She would not sleep and she would cry alot, try to put a wet washcloth in the freezer for about 5 minutes and then let him chew on the corner! Hold him close and try to calm him!

i will try the washcloth thing, i tried it a few days ago, but i didnt konw you only needed to put it in there for 5 minutes. i left it in all day and it was like a giant ice cube and he couldnt chew it.

i dont mind. my husband leaves at 540 am and comes home at 630 pm. we moved here last month. my family and friends are all back home (450 miles away).
i had one really good friend back home and im just lonely here.
my husband doesnt understand because he has work to go to, and he loves his job.

Does he take a pacifier? Lately my son has been waking up 2-3 times a night too and at first I thought he was hungry. Now I've realized that at least two of those times, he just wants to suck and be comforted that way. So I give him the paci and go back to sleep. If he's actually hungry, he'll keep crying for some food.

Editted to add: I know how lonely you feel. I moved here a few years ago, far away from my family and friends. We did get a good circle of friends that supported each other like family, but they all moved away a month after my son was born. It gets me down whenever I let myself think about it. I miss the company of close friends.

Yeah, it only needs to go in there for like 5 mins, it gets cold pretty fast! But when Daisy was teething, i could only wait 5 minutes!lol! Are you sure your getting milk? Can you hear him sucking and swallowing? I have a friend that thought she was feeding her little boy at 5 months but it turned out she was starving him because she didnt have any milk, the poor thing! The doctor can help with that! Do you pump? But when Daisy was teething she wanted to feed a lot!

he wont take his bink the last two nights. i give it to him, then kinda rub his tummy and try shh'ing him, but to no avail. he is usually kicking his legs so furiously he wont fall back to sleep, then his crying turns to this pissed off screaming thing. he usually really likes his binki

im flying home to my parents tonight for 3 weeks. my husband will be working 60 hours a week the next 2 weeks, then going to cleveland for training for a week. i figured i might as weel just go home since being here i wont see him anyways. im going to miss him a ton, but i think the trip will help me feel better, and i'll have my mom around to help me out a bit.

i wonder if i should leave him in his swing to sleep? im always worried he cant breathe in it, like his neck is smashed or something (paranoia i know)

i know... Daisy always freaks me out because when i put her in her crib she always flips over on her stomache, i cant help but to check her like 50 times throughout the night to make sure she is breathing! I feel the same way!
