Is it normally like that? Is she going a lot more frequently than usual? It could just be something you ate or a change in your diet, but as long as she doesn't seem uncomfortable, I wouldn't worry.

However, if the frequency of her poop has increased a lot, it is more watery than normal, and/or she seems uncomfortable like she has a tummyache, then she problem has a little stomach bug. It should clear up within a couple of days, but if it doesn't or she gets worse, then go to see your pedi.

I'm having the same problem. It seems like anything with an underwire, just pushes my boobs out of it instead of lifting them up. And if I go up to a bigger size, then it is just ridiculously large and looks weird under my clothes. However, I did find a bra that is somewhat ok for going out in - it is one of those that has the clear straps and I got it at Target. I'm pretty sure it is the Target brand - whatever one they carry. Those straps are still visible though, so it's not that great for going somewhere really nice. But it is nice to have for casual dining or something outdoors where I want to wear a tank top.

Well she just threw up all the bm she ate a little bit ago. So maybe her tummy is upset.

question:
today i changed jonas and his diaper just had a big blob of very yellow mucus (it looked like my plug tmi). it was way gooey and bright yellow snot.

then...a few hours later, i find myself with a really upset tummy, so i feel like im going to have to poop (and its going to be bad, you guys know what im talking about lol). well, it was diarreah'ish, but it had some mucus too and was almost the same color as his when i wiped... so sorry for the tmi guys, but i didnt want to make a seperate post since it concerns BF.

could this have been the reason for jonas' poop? have you guys every had this happen to you and your baby? i have no clue what i ate...maybe my burger at red robin, thats all i can think of, husband isnt sick. but i think jonas booger diaper was before i ate the burger...crap...i cant remember. sorry this is so long and rambling. i just hate feeling sick, and i dont want him to feel sick as well....

Jamil, His Dad and I all had that when he was about 2 months old. It was just a virus...

It's either bad food, or a virus... Just keep BFing as normal.. and I Hope he feels better soon... You can offer some pedilliate if he continues to have diarreah but my doctor said as long as I bfed on demand it wasn't necessary and just to watch for dehydration...

Qusetion - my baby is 5 weeks old, but was born 4.5 weeks early. She is healthy as can be; other than her size she has been pretty much like a term baby. She eats well and gained almost 2 lbs her first month. She used to eat about every 3 hours; she still sleeps alot, so I was waking her during the day. Last week, she just didn't seem hungry at 3 hrs, so bumped her up to 3.5 - 4 hrs (earlier if she is acting hungry). Seems like many bf babies eat much more frequently than that - esp this young. Thoughts?

Every baby s differnt. My daughter at that age was eating anywhere from 2 hours to 4 so I wouldnt worry. As long as she has plenty of wet diapers and seems satisfied then no worries!=)

My son was eating every three hours almost on the dot at that age, sometimes sooner. As long as you are feeding on demand though, don't worry about it. She will definitely let you know when she's hungry!

Ok. I have looked up matitus or however its spelled. The breastfeeding infection and this is totally not it. I dont have any redness on my breast..they arent sore to the touch or anything..but it seems like there are these little bumps that pop up on my aerola or whatever and around my nipple..so I was in the shower and I saw a white head on it like a zit, so Isqueezed it and it popped like a zit..is this possible? Getting zits on your nipples or is this something else I am not familar with?

Those are called montgomery glands.

"Glands of Montgomery are sebaceous glands in the areola (of the nipple). The glands makes oily secretions (lipoid fluid) to keep the areola and the nipple lubricated and protected."

You should try not to squeeze them because apparently it can cause an infection. They are normal

As long as she is gaining weight at a rate that her doctor is happy with I wouldn't worry about it.. jamil has always eaten very frequently.. much more than normal or average
