I don't really know about coke but I have 1 large and strong cup of coffee a day. Never after around noon though. All though my pregnancy too and it does not seem to effect my son in any way. I think just like with everything else, moderation is key

thats what i figured...if i have one its either with lunch or dinner and she is fine...sleeps good eats good not fussy ect..but i was reading it and thinking man maybe im messing up her insides!!

You better watch out, she sounds EXACTLY like my grandmother,, and when she would watch my oldest for me, I would walk in and at 4 months old had his bottle with chocolate milk, would give him bones to chew on, random table foods, and would tell me that she was going to take him from me, because we were military and didnt want us moving,, and just today, with my youngest (2months) I have told her 4820482 times he is exclusively breast fed, no bottles, no pacis.. well she very randomly said "oh.. and I gave him a paci today" with a smirk like, "haha, I did what you didnt tell me too".. sooo needless to say,, only visits with gma, while im there. ugh!

I suspected as much but I hadn't read it. I tried to research a little on the topic & every source said it was fine. But I'm more apt to believe this. Where did you read the article?

I was a Nazi about no caffeine during pregnancy. Now I have my coffee, but only an hour before breastfeeding or more. I don't drink the coffee while breastfeeding or anything. And I drink a lot of water. I know these things don't make it ok now, I'll stop being in denial and selfish. I love my coffee, but I love my baby more.

It'ts not your fault, not all babies get a chunky as others, I mean, my 2 month old weighs 12 lbs 8 oz.. but all I do is give him booby. lol

My daughter thinks my nips are her play things. She trys to pinch them between her fingers and twist and stuff. You're not kidding.. that shit hurts like hell.


Just wanted to say HI. We got moved into our house, but it's ALOT of work that needs done. DH hooked up the shower and toilet yesterday, but had to wait until today to do the sinks. The kitchen is not finished. The place is a mess. It's more work than we expected. But oh well. It's gonna look awesome when we're done!!

My son hit 25lbs at 9 months on mostly breastmilk and 1 solid meal a day at the time.
Like others have said, babies grow at different rates and are different sizes. I'm sure your lil man will be just fine on booby juice, it IS the best, afterall!

My son throws up if I drink too much caffiene so I stay away from it.

I drink a cup of coffee and a coke every day. I limit myself to that though. I also had one caffeinated drink a day while pregnant. But I was such a big caffeine drinker that my doctor said it was better for me to continue one a day. She doesn't have any problems with me drinking some now and BF either.

Talking about small size. Trinity was only15 lbs 3 oz at 8 months old. She weighed 7 lbs 15oz at birth. She's just really small, she's very petite. But so am I. Her doctors have never been concerned, she gains weight just slowly But she's healthy, and happy. So don't worry about it. Some babies are just small.

I drank two small cups of coffee a day when I was pregnant and I drink two cups a day now as well. I've done my research and know it's safe. I make sure I don't drink pop though, which is easy since I don't like it very much anyway.

I drink caffiene daily. Usually one coke or pepsi. It has never affected Harlow unless it is in the pm, then she has a rough time going to bed so I cut it off at 5pm. And yes, babies vary so much in weight haha. My oldest is 29lbs at almost 4 years old, my middle daughter is 27lbs at 2.5 years old, and Harlow will be 3 months old on Sunday and is around 14-14.5lbs haha. She is my fatty patty. She is ebf as well ;)

smh. some people in the bottle feeding thread just completely amaze me.
