ya ridiculous! i think its if you give no formula at all but eventually you have to give some soilds so i think he'd still be EBF!

ya my great grandma says things like that too and im suprised since she breastfed all of her babies but i think older people just assume that we all use formula since sooo many women do now a days!

medela nipple cream stuff.

that stuff saved my life. (well not really) i used it the first 2 months and i still use it occasionally. just put it on every time after you nurse it works wonders

Hey Ladies...my little girl is almost 6 weeks now(2 days more),she has been good on breast feeding,but for last week ,I dont know wat is wrong...she starts deinking,goes on for arnd 10 min,then un-latches,is fussy,tries to latch back and then unlatches again..
i then try to calm her and then reverse sides,she does good there but after a while is fussy there as well...Initially this was an evening affair only for one feeding..but now the frequency is increased..i checked wid her ped..she says it is fine..
i am going crazy...cud this b reflux...but btw she does not spit up(thank god and touchwood)

My son sarting doing that about 2 weeks ago too. Sometimes he had a burp or he needed a new diaper, & other times he was just fussy. I would pick him up & walk him around for a few minutes then he was ready to go again.

ugh hubbs and his mom are pressuring me to give baby cereal and formula cuz they said it would help with colic.....I just feel like she's too young for tht I wish they would shut up!!! Shes only 7 wks!!!

Hey mamas. Ok, I've been EBFing Pei since she was born but was hospitalized from two fridays ago until last friday ( an entire week) and my milk supply has basically dried up. She's since been on formula and I need to get her back on the boob. I'm getting depressed over not being able to nurse her   and it's driving me crazy! I had some mamas tell me that I could buy fenugreek and blessed thistle to help get my milk supply back. I plan on buying some from the store today. Questions! Should I take both together? About how long until my supply starts coming back? And once it does, should I be able to stop the fenugreek and blessed thistle because before I had an awesome and adequate milk supply...

I want my booby baby back!

She's actually developed a LOT of dry rashybumps all over her body the past few days and we are taking her to the doctor today for it. I'm going to feel so horrible if it's because of the formula   but we'll see.

thanks Ariel...yup,when my girlie cries she too sometimes is either having a bowel moment or needs to burp or so..but is this fussiness inspite of getting good milk ok? i feel guilty,everytime i eat..that she is gonna cry while drinking milk

hey try eating asparagus as well...it too increases the milk supply,this is as per ancient indian(the country)science

Tell them to mind their own dang business!!! 7 weeks is WAY too young to introduce cereal UNLESS a Dr orders it. I can't believe some people still think like this!!!!

Keep putting baby to breast and pumping. fenugreek oatmeal malt o meal will also help. when H was hospitalized for a week i still BF and used my pump. when the bat
died they let me use a hosp one
