Wow!!! I wish I could save back 33 oz in 3 days!!! LOL!!!
You are awesome for donating so much milk!!! 300oz is amazing!!!!

It feels better to vent-no worries.I understand completely-every time I even remotely mention how tired I am,or how Brady is going to be a little guy,or wince while I am nursing the answer to all of these is"Well try putting him on formula".As for your baby being more fussier that weekend I must say that in all my years of experience with babies I find the more vocal(good and bad) and the more fidgety babies to be the quicker learners-may be a co-incidence,but maybe not.Who cares anyways if her daughter was quieter, that is no indication on her parenting but on the babies demeanor,or like you said what the poor babe is used to(neglect).

Yes it does help a lot to vent lol!!! I really can't stand the way she parents, but I don't say anything because it's not my baby. I think as long as the baby isn't totally neglected than I don't really have a right to say anything. HOWEVER, that baby is used to having barely any attention. She passed the baby off to everyone else when she needed to be fed, and if she was fed and changed she was in her swing in the cabin. She was crying for like 20 minutes at one point that weekend and I walked out and was like "Peyton has been crying for a long time" and she replied to me "She's fed and changed, she can cry" Every was entitled to their own parenting styles, but I think CIO at 3 months is a little much.

ETA: And I hate when everyone's answer to problems is to quit BFing...when I told some of the family that I got thrush their first question was "So are you putting her on formula now then?"

Me too ,with the thrush, and they say it with glee too-like it is the best thing for the kid.I don't understand why alot of formula feeders complain that us bfeeders are judgemental-I have had quite the opposite encounters and try my damnedest to not make any failed bfeeders feel badly.Anyhow-good for you for being the bigger person and biting your tongue-something I still struggle with in my 30's,lol.

Yeah I feel the same way too. I walk on eggshells so that I don't make FFers feel bad about FF, and I get the exact opposite response from most. They are always "Formula isn't bad for babies, I don't see why you don't just give them formula, it's easier"

And yeah.....I bit my tongue that day, but like I said....It was only because of the people we were around. LOL.

I find formula feeders to be the worst for judging lol
its like if they push you into FFing then you say oh it isnt that bad and it makes them feel justified in themselves.

I had my first leaking in public incident at the BBQ I just got back from. We let my IL's babysit for the first time and I called to check up on Allyson. When I hung up the phone and looked down at the cup holder where I was putting it down I noticed my lap was wet, but didn't have a drink in my hand or anything. My first instinct was to touch my chest. Sure enough, my shirt was soaked! I had to go into the bathroom and hand express. I had just pumped a couple hours before, so I don't know why they filled back up so quickly. It was pretty damned funny though. We all had a good laugh and I offered up shots of milk. No takers. lol

I used two pilows to put her on for the football hold. I did the top one a bed pillow that sunk in a little bit so she was pretty good even if she wiggled. GL though

Quoting Blissful:“ Can I suggest taking acidopholis... it really helps keep yeast at bay.. You can buy it as a supplement ( pill) or just eating a serving of yogurt everyday will help.”

Yes yes, I've been through this. I know the drill   haha
I've done it all.
Probiotics, Grapefruit seed extract, gentian violet, avoiding sugar (well, that one I'm not so good at), nystatin, and finally diflucan.

And Trish, no I dont leak at all anymore hardly. Maybe once in a blue moon.

I just have a yeast imbalance. It runs in the family unfortunately.   Gotta be better about my diet. I'm just not that disciplined!
