I couldn't agree with you more-I am constantly telling her that there are reasons for change, and intelligent people research why and what and how so that we can be safer, and smarter and healthier,then she comes back with some asinine comment like"Well my kids all survived and I let them play in manure pits,and drink grapefruit juice since 2 months of age,etc,,,"and it tires the snot out of me.I will ignore her,it is just hard to deal with stupidity,I'd much rather deal with my Mother's cold,selfish intelligent self,than my mil-sad but true.

UGH you guys make me so thankful for my good in laws!
I really lucked out in the parenting support department. Both my mom and MIL were AP style extended breastfeeders... makes it so nice when I need a babysitter!!   I never hear shit from anyone about my parenting. It would piss me off too.

I was thinking about it earlier, and if she's a jealous person one thing that she might REALLY be jealous of is your youth and the stage of life that she's in. She knows she is done bearing and raising children, and it almost sounds like she resents you for being where she wants to be. And doing it better, of course.

We had to do diff holds too, Brendan is preemie and my boobs were bigger than him at one stage so we would have to cradle hold one side and football the other let me see if i can find a pic

Our thrush is back.
We treated it the last time with Diflucan at 8 weeks old... she is now 7 months. I saw the little white patches inside her cheeks a few days ago, now my nipple is getting red and dry and my letdown hurts way more than normal. BLAH!
I really dont want to get back on a prescription! I'm going to experiment with colloidal silver as well as the Gentian Violet this time!  
I have great hopes for the silver, as it's completely non toxic, easily eliminated from the body and kills everything! Viruses, bacteria, fungus, you name it.
It even kills HIV and MRSA!
You can take it internally as well, and its safe with no known side effects. I'm going to paint it on my nipples, her mouth and bum, as well as take it internally. If it works out, I'll definitely update!

I think she is just bitter in general,lol.I happen to be an upbeat energetic person and talk to my kids when they do something wrong(opposed to hitting and yelling),she is a shitty shitty housekeeper(gross) and is just putting about and never cares too much about her appearance,and was a screamer as a Mom.As a matter of fact she brought me HER mother's clothes(81 years old) that her mother didn't fit anymore and wanted to see if I'd like them.UUUUmmmm I am 34 and in the fashion scene, and do care about my appearance somewhat,why the hell would I want her mother's polyester pants(with the creases,lol) and yes also her panties(and I mean grannie panties ,slightly used),lmao.I had a hair customer/friend that day and she choked on her tea-so ya see it can't be about looks cause she is hopeless in that department.Like I said it is more about me bearing the first girl(which personally I was thrilled with but never gloated) and the fact I can and am balancing everything fairly well-she was not so efficient.

Do you still leak alot?I got thrush from using nursing pads with the waterproof backing,from leaking so much.Also vinegar and water is great for external use(may sting a tinge) as it is a yeast killer.Thrush sucks ass,so sorry!

Can I suggest taking acidopholis... it really helps keep yeast at bay.. You can buy it as a supplement ( pill) or just eating a serving of yogurt everyday will help.

Ughhhh ME!!!!!!!!!

We went camping with Jason's family, and his brother is dating a girl with a baby a month older than Madisynn. She formula feeds (and gives her baby WAY too much formula). Well this was the first time Madisynn was around a lot of people EVER and she was really whiny and scared to be around so many loud people. The other baby was left alone to swing herself to sleep, and is used to not getting ANY attention. So she was quiet a lot more than Madisynn. His family took this to mean that she was a better baby than Madisynn, and the brother's gf asked why I didn't just formula feed her. She took her whining to mean that she wasn't "Getting enough milk". Keep in mind that she fed her baby 8oz bottles of formula at 3 months old!!!!! I was severely pissed off the whole weekend and I still to this day will not go anywhere if she is going to be there. I told Jason's mom that I WILL NOT let her get away with shit like that again. The only reason I didn't speak up before was because I didn't want to cause a scene in front of the grandparents.

And this was way longer than I thought it was going to be..I'm sorry LOL!
