I didn't know her but I know a lot of people who did from Gymboree loops we shared. I was so sad to hear about it and I think of her and her family often. Be happy for her now. She is in Heaven at peace with a new life with her kids! <3

I have not been on in ages, but I do remember this and I remember her. This was one of the most tragic things I have ever heard of! RIP

this is so sad. the video made me cry. bethany, i didnt know you or any of your children... but i know yall are in a better place now. may you and your beautiful children rest in peace.

I think the thing that got me right in the gut was seeing the ticker at the top of Bethany's page.

They called her Verde.. LOL. All the newstations messed up Vadie's name.

I know the sister to Danny and have an update that I don't think I'm at liberty to say. I'll ask her to get on to update and post pics for you all.

Ditto. It's been months since I checked this thread, but I think about them all a lot. If you do feel at liberty to post/update at some point - I think everybody would understand.

My name is Mandee, I am Dan's YOUNGEST sister, Amanda. I thought I would update for you guys and FEEL FREE To message me any time to ask anything. I have NO problem discussing or talking about it. I don't get to often as it's a hard subject, my family and I do discuss it occasionally but not as much as I would like. I do find out new things about it more and more as time goes on. So, feel free to inbox me or personally message me at MandeeJoy@yahoo.com. I am willing to talk about it. :-)

Here's a little update:

Well, everything is good. Dan's remarried, has a 5 1/2 month old son named Nikki, Sydney's " okay " she still has memory issues and is having a lil trouble in school and is on depression meds and other meds due to it. I don't talk to the boys(Beau) anymore. My brother I think communicates every now and then with them but he's just busy with his job and going out of state to work a lot. He's finally starting to act more like " DAN " the one I grew up with. He's put on more weight and is just HAPPY. I know it's what Bethany would have wanted, him to move on and continue his life and just be happy and be himself and enjoy life. That's exactly what he did. Just last year they went to Myrtle Beach and spread everybody's (But Jordan's) ashes where they LOVED to go for vacation. Not all the ashes had gone there as Jack(The father of Lacie and Haley) has some of them and Jordan's mother has all of Jordan's ashes (long story). So, they aren't exactly FULLY Together, but they are where they are happiest. I have photo's of all of them around my house and playing with my kids and it's hard because my kids understand now what happened and just thinking that Jordan would be a teen just eats me alive. Not to be able to see her first bf, or prom, graduation. I always remember the last time I seen them, two nights before they were killed, they were at my house for my daughters birthday party and I remember as I'm walking through the house, places they were playing. Along with my sisters " old " house (the night they were killed, this is where we were for a Christmas Gathering) and I swear I could hear them running through the house, their laughter and I can hear Bethany all the time calling up the stairs to Beau to come and get some food. I'll never forget those moments.
