I can't sleep so I googled Bethany to see if i could find any new information...I found this:
http://66.173.217.84/lisak/NL_thismonth.pdf
It's their church's Newsletter for December. On page 4 is this...
"Congratulations to...
Danny and Bethany Griffin
on the birth of Vadie Zora
Griffin, and to proud siblings,
Brett, Haley, Beau,
Lacie, Jordan and Sydney."
Then on page 10 is this...
"Health Ministry Update—Drunk & Drugged Driving
The holiday season between
Thanksgiving and New
Year’s is one of the deadliest
and most dangerous
times of the year due to an
increase in impaired driving.
Impaired driving will affect
one in three Americans during
their lifetime. In 2004,
16,694 people died in alcohol-
related motor vehicle
crashes, accounting for 39%
of all traffic-related deaths
in the United States (NHTSA
2005). December is National
Drunk and Drugged
Driving Month (3D Month) by
Presidential Proclamation.
Quick Facts about Drunk
and Drugged Driving
† An alcohol-related motor
vehicle crash kills someone
every 31 minutes
and nonfatally injures
someone every two minutes
(NHTSA 2005).
† Drugs other than alcohol
(eg. marijuana and
cocaine) are involved in
about 18% of motor
vehicle driver deaths.
These other drugs are
generally used in combination
with alcohol.
(Jones et al. 2003).
† More than two-thirds of
child passengers ages
14 and younger who
died in alcohol-related
crashes during 1997-
2002 were riding with
the drinking driver; only
32% of them were properly
restrained at the
time of the crash (Shults
2004)
Impaired driving is no accident-
nor is it a victimless
crime. It is one of America’s
deadliest problems. Driving
a car or riding a motorcycle
while impaired or riding with
someone who is impaired is
not worth the risk. The consequences
are serious and
real. Not only do you risk
killing yourself or someone
else, but the trauma and
financial costs of a crash or
an arrest for driving while
impaired can be really significant.
Please remember to “Give
the Gift of a Lift” this holiday
season. “Friends Don’t
Let Friends Drive Drunk”.

This is so chilling.
