OH YES- my mom smokes, and so does my gramma. INSIDE the house. so on holidays like this, they are both smoking constantly. so I told both of them tonight, that on top of being depressed and miserable, I didnt want to smell like smoke after being in that house for 5 minutes, OR be around it. they both dont understand that Im pregnant, and its not bad. It obviously never killed any other baby, right? wow.
I cant stand my family sometimes.

oh im so jealous of you! i saw your pictures and i just wanted to jump thru the screen and onto the beach! why did you live in jamaica and for how long? i used to live in puerto rico! that was so awesome but i was young, so i didnt get to fully 'experience' the fun of it. i had a good time though (for an 11 year old) i would go back in a hearbeat! you not going over there sucks but at least you are being a responsible mom already! you are going to be a good mommy!

i stumbled across one of my ex boyfriends on facebook the other day. he was like my first love and he really hurt me. he broke up with me and started dating my best friend (i got double screwed) but i stayed friends with both of them like a dumbass. anyway, now he is married and has two kids and that was like 7 years ago but sometimes i still get really mad that he did that to me ( plus sometimes i still think i have a glimmer of feelings left for him but i know that its bc he was my first love) should i still be having these crappy feelings toward him? i dont want to but i think its bc i never got closure on the whole situation.

im gonna be a COLD mommy!! Washington SUCKS!I lived in Jamaica about 4 years ago, moved home fora bit, then moved to the Cayman Islands for 6 months. Bartending down there, and partying so bad.... oh my gosh i bet you had so much fun. i did see your pics on myspace and they look like you had a freakin blast! japan is cool but its not tropical in the part that i live. down south its warm all the time but where i live it is very seasonal.

What IS it like over there? City scapes? Cloudy? Polluted? or Really big? Get lost easily? Greenery everywhere? I wouldnt have the first clue on Japan! My cuz used to live over there... AND Germany! She is in florida now... still better than here!!! I just had a bunch of friends go to thailand... That will be my next vaca sometime.....

japan is like a mixture of everything. where i live is very suburban. once you walk outside the base it is pretty city like. there are parks here and there. tokyo is like new york city times a million! there are sooooo many people out there, the buildings are huge and there is barely any grass. then if you go out to certain parts of japan it is really country farmland like. there is barely ever trash on the ground even in tokyo. the people take very good care of the streets. whenever we were out late i would see street sweepers every night, plus the store keepers sweep the sidewalks in front of their stores. its not usually cloudy for more than a few days if that. oh and you definately can get lost easily especially on the train system. everyone says its easy for them but for me its hard. i get turned around really easily. the people are so freakin nice...its wierd. if they dont speak english, they will run across the street to find you someone that does. there is almost 0% crime rate out here. you could leave your car unlocked with all your jewelry in it on the side of the road for a few days and no one would bother it! except maybe the police. if there ever is anything crazy, its on the front page of the paper for weeks and it is usually americans or military. this one guy on my dh's ship (was from africa somewhere, not a us citizen) he slit this taxi drivers throat with a kitchen knife. that was on the front page for 3 weeks...seriously!

WOW...Sounds like so much fun!! Is your hubby japanese? or you guys are just stationed over there? how did you end up there anyway? Seattle isnt all that bad... I hate it cause its cold. and under normal circumstances we would have at least hit a bit of spring by now. Its fun, and busy, with all sorts of cultures everywhere! People from all over the world come here for some reason. its right on the coast, so we have it all. Oceans, beaches, lakes, mountains, farmland, city life. Its a huge business center capital, so seattle is always buzzing with fast paced people and their cell phones. Parking meters, public transportation, sushi houses, and your local McDonalds on the opposite corner. It really does rain 8 or 9 damn months out of the year, but when it stops, and the sun comes out, the birds sing, and everyone is in a good mood! Its so beautiful here and everyone acts like its their last day on earth when teh sun is out! Its like a national holiday!! Get out your boats, ski doos, bathing suits and sunscreens!! Its always something going on around here! Rock climbing, mountain biking, camping, skiing, snowboarding, swimming, wakeboarding etc.... its always busy here!

my husband isnt japanese. he is a full blown american boy from chicago. i think there are some pictures of him in my albums. we are stationed in japan bc he is in the navy. it was either here or michigan and i was like 'there is no way in hell i am living in michigan.' besides, not that many people get to say that they lived in japan ya know. it sounds fun where you live (aside from all the rain) im from virginia beach and we have the ocean, lakes and the mountains arent too far. i love it there, but it gets old sometimes bc of the tourists. all my local hangouts get bombarded by tourists from may to august and it sucks, but you meet cool people that way.

GOOD MORNING MOMMA'S!!! Today is another icky day! Cloudy possible showers and high about 60!!!  

So I see that I wasn't the only with with a crappy mothers day! I wish I could have just slept through the whole day. My hubby had to work, my daughter was with her father. I asked her if she wanted to spend the weekend with me for mothers day and she said Mom, I see you every day I wanna go to daddy's. Sowhat kinda mom would I have been to make her stay? Anyways, I was extremely sick all day and had my 4 yr. old running stir crazy, so I didn't go anywhere. Then we had severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings! I was scared to death being in a double wide and all alone with my son! I tried to call my MIL to go over there in case of tornado but no one answered, so all I could do was prepare the closet and hope nothing came of it. Thank God it didn't!! But then when my hubby got home he called his mom and she said she was at home with my SIL and must not have heard the phone ring!!! They have a damn phone in every room of the house! Oh, and she told him the storms weren't that bad!!! BITCH! Then for dinner all we had were chicken nuggets and corn on the cob (I was craving the corn!) But my hubby is off today and he is taking me out to eat and shopping so hopefully things will get better.

Well Ladies! I had a great mommies day! My family did everything perfect as usual!

I Got a coold dragon drawing from my eldest son, a pretty card and picture from my eldest daughter and the two helped my boys scribble me some pretty pictures too! I watched two sesame street movies with them and chased them around for a while!

My man also tool me our for breakfast and then made me grilled chees for supper! so sweet!
They were all just perfect but what ruined my mothers day was his ex wife!!

SHE DIDN"T EVEN SHOW UP TO SEE HER KIDS ON THE LAST MOTHERS DAY SHE WILL HAVE WITH THEM!!!!

I think i was more upset than they were! their little faces, already jaded by her lack of care for them, were so hoping she would come or even call! they were preparing them selves that she wouldn't but still devastated when she didn't!!

Truthfully I didn't expect much, just a quick stop in to say she loved them before work or something! Nothing at all! It would be one thing if she did this every yeazr but the truth is she has never missed a mothers day since we moved back! It is only when we tell her their are going to be 1000 miles away that she stops showing up when she says she is going to !

How horrible does that make a 13 and a 9 year old feel! They know she knows she may not see them for a year or more after they leave and yet they arent' important enough for her to drive the mile down the road from where she lives to see them a minute! If she can't make that she will never make it to Texas! Now they truly feel like they will never see her again! Ifeel so bad for them, i just wanted to go over there aznd beat her fricken ass for having the audacity to hurt my innocent children like that!!!!

Then she finally calls like three minutes before they go to bed, from work at the end of her break and she calls on our new cell which she knows is 25 cents a minute so she can't talk to them long! She could have called the hotel room and talked to them as long as they wanted!!! Then, when the kids ask her when she had to go in for work that day, their last gleaming bit of hope that maybe she just couldn't have made it to see them!, She says she didn't have to be there until 2 in the AFTERNOON!

She could have gotten up and come over to see them before work!!! But she didn't! She doesn't have to go to work until 2 every day this week, If I were her and knew my kids were moving that far from me, I would be over every fucking day, memoriseing their faces and giving them mementos and memmories of me icase it was a while before i saw them again! Giveing the the closure of knowing how much I love them even though I won't be there all the time! It just kills me to see someone break my childrens hearts and there is nothing I can do to stop it!

My own father did this to me my whole life, was never there for me until I was an adult, my mother was the same! I know how they are feeling and hate that I can't protect them form it until we are gone! IO will never tell them when she says she is coming until she hits the fricken border once we are gone! i honestly do not think she will ever make it there!

One part of me is hoping that this is her showing them that she isn't there mom anymore and that she won't ever show up again! If she never makes them another promise than she can't break any!!

B- I totally thought giving your kids the same beginning fro their names was a ‘southern’ oriented thing! Lol I would so tell his family if they give you any crap, that “well, When it wasn’t a boy and I couldn’t name him after his dad, I thought of the next most Hick-ish thing you people do and that is how I thought of it!” It will totally mess them all up! Lol

Blond mama- I used to feel the same way about my first! He didn’t screw me he was just a loser and I had started dating a better guy (my babies daddy) and he didn’t want to share me so I had to choose before I thought I was ready! I made the mistake of leaving my man to go back to him for a while, thinking that things may have been better for me all along if I had been with him! I was so wrong!

Chances are like mine, he is probably the same pick now as he was when you and him broke up! He probably cheats on his wife and is only a great dad for the pictures she takes! LOL It is normal to have some pent up emotions about it but try and direct those at how it felt to be in love for the first time and not how it felt to love HIM! I am still mad at everyone who has ever wronged me, lol and the hormones bring it all back! Your not alone!

Ok First: Good morning everyone! I didnt get on most of the weekend so I've been playing a little bit of catch up this morning.

blondemama- I think it was you talking about your ex you ran into on facebook... I love my dh more than anything, but my first love I was with for 4 1/2 years and we were engaged and lived together and everything... and he hurt me REALLY bad so I ended it... I will always have some sort offeelings for him and I still get really pissed off and upset if I let myself sit and think about what he did to me. I wish I could just get over it but I cant. Maybe one day I will not care anymore. Anyway, I usually just force myself not to think about it because I dont want that to come between me and dh, but I think its normal to feel the way you do.

Lotus30- Welcome and congrats on your little boy!!!!!!!!

B- I have asthma too. I've had it since I was 11. My dr isnt doing an extra ultrasound because of it. I wish they would! I want to see my little man again!   But all they've said about it is make sure I use my inhaler whenever I need it so Cohen can get enough oxygen.

Ali- I hope things turn around for you soon. Everyone has really bad frustrating times but it really sucks that you have to go through it while you're pregnant.

Well, my mothers day was pretty good. dh and I went out to eat for breakfast with his family. Then dh went to work and I went to church with my family...the best part of that was seeing my 2 nieces.   They are my 2 favorite people in the world... besides Cohen of course hehe! Anyway, then I went to my parents for dinner. At church they gave out 1 gift to the youngest mother, one to the oldest, and one to the mom with the most kids... I would have gotten one for being the youngest but they said being pregnant didnt count   Dh gave me a card and a hydrangea plant cuz I've been wanting to plant one this year. My youngersisters new boyfriend is trying to suck up to the whole family so he gave me, my mom, and my older sister each 3 roses and a card. Well thats about all I have to say for right now... I hope you ladies are chatty today so it will help my day pass quickly!!
