Ali- Hey girl, Sorry about your BUM problems, I have had that happen before too, I went to the doc and they said that happens sometimes if you get hard BM's and it will tear the inside of your booty hole! OUCH  It is very scary though!!!!

mommie2ndxaround - your doctor sounds like a real ass. I would definately switch if I were you. If the doctors are in the same practice there should be no problem switching now.

Ali - You look great in your new pics. I love the shower dress too. I bought a cute one to wear at my shower. The bleeding thing sounds like hemerroids. Unfortunately it's common for us preggos.

Just got back from Labor and Delivery. Being high risk sucks!!!! Here is my story. Went to OB today and said that I was having pressure and pain lower pelvic. That it disapearred mostly when I was laying down. No bleeding, leaking or cramping nor any contractions. So what does the OB and nurse suggest ...Labor and Delivery. So for 5 hours I was monitored. Had an ultrasound and took my vitals every 20 minutes! Had an internal cervix check. My blood pressure was an average of 140/70. Everything came out fine except that I had a keotone reading of 40 and glucose spilling into urine. I am diabetic. My sugar was 140. So I was told to increase my carbs because the keotones shouldnt be reading 40 in a 140 reading. And of course increase my water intake. I am at 1 gal- 1 gal and 1/2 daily. Tomorrow back to OB and Friday for another hour long ultrasound and cervix scan. And to be in bed as much as I can and sleep more. Yeah that easy with a special needs 6 yr old. Sorry for the long vent...But I guess it is better then being hospitalized. This is the week I was hospitalized with my son.

I remember you saying once that you were taking glyburide. My high risk doc put me on it to take at bedtime cause my morning readings were higher than they like. What concerns me is that all the literature says it's not good to take while pregnant or breastfeeding. I'm taking it and it is helping but I'm still a little nervous.

Glyburide is safe glipizide is the bad one. I went off glipizide and onto glyburide. Have you had any keotones in your urine? I am thinking that tomorrow I am going to get put on insulin...blahhhhhhh. This 3rd trimester hormonal change is definately messing with my sugars. What is your morning readings? This morning I had a 133 my highest in a LONG time. Then 2 hrs after eating it was 140. 20pts higher then they want. Then the Dr. at the hospital says eat more carbs...Hello carbs are what rockets up the sugar. LOL

I was thinking it was strange for them to tell you to eat more carbs lol.
My morning reading were between 110-120. They want them at 96 or below.
Since taking the meds they have been at 95 or below. Aside from a few times, when I knew I ate bad, my reading throught the day have been below 120. But I've been being super strict which is sucking  
When I slack and eat something not too good they go up to 140.

I know it sucks thinking what is this food going to do to my sugar? LOL How many milgrams are you taking of glyburide? If you hit that link it will tell you all the info about glyburide. They want my fasting 70-90 and that is hard. Now my sugar being all out of whack! And right now I want a "REAL" piece of chocolate. LOL

I'm on 2.5 mgs. I am only taking it once before bed. 70-90 is really hard!!
I would physically kill for some actual chocolate right now  
Before this happened I wanted someone to bring me a beer in the hospital but now I want someone to bring me a Ring Ding lol

LOLLOLOL Right woman arrested for chocolate crime. I am on 10mg of glyburide. I am gonna go lay down. Yeah bed rest sucks. My hubby just got home and dinner is diner take out. Talk soon and glad you feel better.

They called me back , they are going to see if another doctor would mine taking me on as a patient ... she said she doesnt see why she wouldnt though . Plus she said this doctor would want to see me in two weeks & not in a month .So hopefully I get good news tomorow .
