re: '08 September Babies Group

The bed rest part is HORRIBLE!!! After last weeks stress test that showed I have contractions almost every 5 minutes or less, minor ones that I really don't even notice... and the dynamic cervix that I have been "blessed" with, I am to spend more time laying down... hard to do with a 5 year old daughter and a DB that is a musician and always away.... I depend on my family to help out when they can, but even that is tough since they have lives to live... jobs, etc.
My soon to be son has hiccups all the time!! The OB said this is a good thing... means his lungs are good and strong.. whtever, I just find it slightly annoying since it is a all day thing... atleast 8 times a day if not more.
So, any one know how big or small, there little one is at this point... ours is estimated to be be presently 4.5lbs and almost 18 inches in length... in the 85% for the week I am in.... If I go full term, I will have a moose!

bacteria test? for the strep virus? My friend just did that at almost 37 weeks.

KSmith- Harrison's nursery is gonna look great! I like putting my belly up to Evan's crib and talking to him. He always let's me know he is listening! Anyway, your bump is so cute! Rub-a-dub-dub!

Ali- It sounds like hemmeroids to me. I have never had them, so I can'ttell you for sure though. Sorry.It is happens again, I woulddefinitely call your OBorL&D to see what they think.Otherwise, just make sure that you mention it to your OB at your next appt. Ihope that it doesn't happen again though.

Moma2Be#2/chelseas_pretty_things- Most OBs do the Group B Strep Test between 35-37 weeks. Usually done when they check your cervix.

chelseas_pretty_things- At my last u/s which was done at 27 weeks, Evan was already 4 1/2 pounds. They didn't mention the length though. If he is like his brother (and his daddy!), I am sure that he will be long! hehe!

yeah same thing happened to me, but the water was red. did you check to see where you were bleeding? I have internal hemrrhoids, you may too. They are not fun

30 weeks today! whoo hoo =]

symptoms for me would be
-shortness of breath (very annoying)
- frequent urination (very annoying)
- not being able to sleep through the night, waking up about every 2 to 3 hours to either pee of just bc im uncomfortable

Hello Ladies!!!!! 
Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!!!
I will be 30 weeks tomorrow!!! Only 9 weeks left for me!!!!!  Yay I am soooooo excited!! And I am almost completely ready!!! My baby shower is July 26th. Then after that I will finally be able to pack Landyns hospital bag!! Mine and hubbys bag is already packed!!
All I need to get now is a rocking chair for my bedroom, and of course the left over stuff that people dont get me from my baby shower!
I will post a picture tomorrow when i am officially 30 weeks!!!!

I'm having my baby shower the same day   I can't wait it hasn't really felt real lately maybe this will help a little!

My DH saw and felt her rolling around yesterday. Then during the movie ( The Love Guru) he had his hand on mybelly and shekicked him HARD lol Guess she didn't like the movie, but I did lol

Yeah boyfriend has his hand on my tummy ALL NIGHT last night while she was rolling around and hitting him. I told him she does that every night he just doesn't pay attention. Ever since then he is obsessed but I like it. We watched part of Jersy Girl the other day and he has NO IDEA that women can die while giving birth. He looked at me like he could have cried and was seriously freaking out. I told him to chill, everything will be finee..

lol yeah my husband still does not pay attention, except when I "yelp" lol. Then he looks, sees her rolling and laughs, then kisses my belly and says "i love you Deena" lol

is it just me or do you all still get "spooked" or whatever the word is, when the baby moves? I knoe she is there but I still jump when she moves and kicks lol

My belly was soo lopsidded today, my husband laughed his butt off... lol

LOL.... This morning Justin and I were sitting on the floor playing with my niece and she was trying to blow raspberries on my arm, so he decided to show her how by blowing them on my belly.... Right when he did Lessa kicked him in the mouth.... HARD!! LOL.... I started to laugh so hard.... he was like WOAH!! He, for some reason, decided to try again, and she kicked him again... LOL. He loves feeling her moved and poke out, but he was a little taken back by the kick to the mouth... LOL. That's my girl!!
