Ok, so doc called me back, in like 5 min, WOW world record!! And she said I have no symptoms of preeclampsia (what?) and my symptons are normal of pregnancy. So ok, but IF I want to go to L&D I can. I was all" I don't really want to, no" But I dunno I will see what my mom says. And for my headache she told me to take 2 xtra strength tylenol and if the headache does not go away then go to L&D!! UGH I dunno

Can you see why I am worried about swelling? Doc said it is normal in summer for pregnant women!!

When I get the urge to lay on my back, I keep my lower body twisted to the right or left side and lay on my back... if that makes any sence... I only do it for a little bit because I start to get nervous that I might hurt the baby, but it works for me...

You are definately swelled up. Thats how I was when I had toxemia (pre eclampsia) My face was very swelled to .....actually my face looked distorted from the water gain. My nose kinda disappeared into my face LOL hard to explain. But I had gained 40lbs in 2 days of straight fluids. KNOCK on wood I have no swelling at all yet. Did they do a 24hr protein check on you?

Happy 4th Mommas....

Sorry... but I have to vent.

Our 4th started off great... it seemed like it was going to be a great day. We go to start the truck and the battery was dead again... We really gotta get the damn fuse fixed in it... But we finally got it started and headed out to our friends house for the massive cook out and fire work display. Well... upon arrival I see a car in the driveway that I REALLY didn't want to see... It belonged to Chris (the guy that caused Justin to have the major problems at work). Well, figuring I'd be the bigger person, I dropped Justin and Kassi off and told Justin to call me when Chris left or when he knew what was going on, and I left and went to my mom's. I didn't want to start anything on a holiday at someone else's house.

About 2 hours later Justin calls me and tells me that Chris was getting ready to leave. I told him to call me when he left and I would head over. An HOUR later he finally calls to say that he left. So I left my mom's and went to our friends to enjoy the 4th.

When I got there Buddy (our friend) said that he wish he knew what was going on so that we wouldn't have had this problem. The thing is... I SWARE HE KNEW!!! Chris has been told for MONTHS not to speak to me, and he has NEVER listened. And after I told Chris off yesterday Justin had told Buddy about it and Chris even sent the message to Buddy. Whatever... it may have slipped his mind in the crazyness of the day. So we eat, and hang out, and everything seems to be going great.

Then... around 8pm Chris shows up with his girlfriend (Now... I should mention his girlfriend is Justin's boss's daughter... And about 2 years ago she lied to her mom and almost got ME fired when I worked in that store). I was PISSED!!! But I controlled my temper and behaved myself and just stayed quiet and said nothing to nobody. We figured he was only there for a min to pick up something he left earlier and he would be leaving soon. After about an hour we realized he wasn't leaving and both Justin and I got pissed. We told Buddy that if Chris was going to be there we were not staying. Well... it was obvious that Chris wasn't leaving so we packed up and left.

What really pisses me off is Chris has known for WEEKS that we were going to be there tonight... we put in almost $50 in fireworks for tonight, and have been planning this for weeks. I told him yesterday to leave me the fuck alone (sorry for the language) and if he didn't he would regret ever meeting me. I'm half tempted to go down to the court house and get a PPO against him. Then he CAN NOT be around me or Justin. If it's not bad enough that he may have caused Justin his job (less than 10 weeks before my due date) he's trying to make things worse. And to bring over the lying bitch ass boss's daughter who likes to run to her mom with lies about people... We can't afford for him to lose his job. It's the only job he's ever had, and he just now got into a good position with the company. And the fact that the BEST MAN of our wedding didn't even stand up for us... I'm starting to wonder what kind of friend he really is.. And... to put the icing on the cake... I started having cxns!!!! I've already dropped, had ALOT of pressure on my hoo hoo and my butt. I don't need the stress to put me into pre-term.. I'm already high risk for it, and all this crap is only making it worse.

I'm sorry it's so long, but I had to vent to someone, and ya'll are the closest thing I have to good friends right now. I hope everyone's 4th was better than mine!!!

We told Buddy that as long as Chris isn't there, we'll come back tomorrow to do fireworks.... We'll see what happens, cuz if Chris shows up again I WILL get the PPO on his ass... I don't want to make things hard on Buddy, but if Chris can't get the hint then I'll put a legal one in his ass... right along with a few bottle rockets... LOL!!!

hey do you ladies remember when we are suppost to get checked for the bacteria? I know it should be coming up soon! 35 weeks maybe? I've been having terriable night contractions! never enought to go the the hospt but enought to keep me from sleeping! I'm getting nerves because the babies room isnt ready! anyone else>?

I was actually starting to wonder teh same thing... about the bacteria test that is. I get fFn tests every 2 weeks, and I do have frequent contractions as well as a dynamic cervix... meaning that my cervix can goe from 1.3 to 2.1cm within a very short span of time... not a great thing when you still technically have 8 weeks to go. My contractions however have not been strong enough to cause me to go in to the hospital, but I am on limited movement bedrest. I can still go out and do things, but really have to limit how much walking and standing I do so that this baby boy stays where he is for atleast another 3 weeks.... ohh, and our room isn't ready either. Actually I am sitting in the babies room typing this, so lots more to do... like get a new computer desk that will fit int he living area of our town house!
Anyone else having issues with their pregnancy such as contractions, or anything that is causing their doctors to be concerned????

No I haven't really had any bad ones. I did last week and they were killing me. But no reason to go to the hospital. As far as the babies room, haha we have NOTHING ready. I have a baby shower the 19th and the 26th so I will do her room after that.

I was complaining about my leg the other day, and I went swimming yesterday before I had to be at work. And that helped SO much!

As far as the 4th of July, I had to work from 4-close. It was a MAD house. There was SO many people at the oceanfront, and some of them weren't very nice. I did get lucky and no one bothered me about being pregnant. One lady did pull me aside as I was runnning around and gave me $40 and told me it was for me and my baby. HAHA! I was like Awh thanks. I mean I wait tables so I know obviously that's what I work for, but at the same time it kinda made me feel like shit. I don't know maaybe its just me. I work today from 2- close and I know it's going to be just as busy tonight. It really wears my body out, but all I have to do it make it the next two days (today and tomorrow) and I get two days off. I could really go without the dirty looks I get for working, but what do they want me to do? I mean shit I could just lie to my doctor and get put on bed rest and get medicaid. But that's not me. I feel bad for any of you girls who are on bed rest I would loose my mind!! Well that's all for now, I'm going to run to my parents house and wash my work clothes.
