stomach twinges and pains

Im now 11 weeks pregnant, and throughout and before actually i have had small pains and twinges in the stomach im pretty sure they were there before but i cant be certain i have been checked and im fine midwife says twinges seem normall but any ideas what it could be? and how do you tell if it is something to worry about? they only last a short while and either go by them self or i move and they go, sometimes high up right under my rib like something is stabbing me, or accross where my stomach is or lower accross my gut and sometimes lower approx where the baby is now which worries me slightly. i have no major pains and no bleeding and the scan shows everything is fine so im trying not to worry but its hard having had two previous misscariages.

Sound slike it could be a numer of things and possibly even un related things. I find when early in my pregnancies I become super sensitive to anything in my abdomen. Remember your digestive track slows during pregnancy so maybe you are just experiencing some digestive pains. Just listen to your instincts if it is something you are concerned about talk to your midwifeor seek the opinion an OB.

Could be round ligament pains. Those are very normal. Just keep an eye out for those signs of a miscarriage and call your doctor if anything develops

I have that same problem and i'm 14 weeks
like i get these pains undereneath my bellybutton and they're not horrible pains just uncomfortable.
the other night though i had a really sharp pain in my side so bad it took my breath away but i dont think it was anything and i'm pretty sure everything with the baby is fine.
i asked my mom about it and she said i shouldn't worry and she's had 4 kids so i took her advice and tried not to worry.

also i read somewhere that when you're that early in pregnancy you may have pains down there and around your abdomen because your uterus is growing and everything is moving around.

but if the doctor said everything was ok then try not to worry
i know easier said than done.

thanks everyone, its great to know im not alone, i do try not to worry like i said there are no signs anything is rong and even before i found out i was pregnant i was very much 'belly focused' for some reason i just thought i was bloating and putting on weight i keep trying to tell myself im just over aware of my stomach now. again thanks to you lovely girlies its really reassuring.

I'm going through the same thing and I'm 6 weeks along and have also had 2 previous miscarriages, I'd say if you're worried then ask if you can have regular check ups every weeks or so until your out of the danger zone.

unfortunately my local gp service and the hospital i attend are really over stretched   its a bout 3 weeks for an appointment for my doc or midwife and even longer for the hospital all of a sudden everyone is preg! the docs round here are kinda confused, sudden surge in pregnancies very odd but none the less with no actuall signs of problems and admitedly perhaps over indulging over the holidays i think its fairly likely its more to do with being exhausted and eating too much lol it should settle down in the new year.
