My Father didn't want anything to do with it at first (8 yrs ago), but now he's so excited. My Mom isn't adopted, but I did search and find my baby sister that died 2 days after birth and it was covered up by the hospital.

I know my mothers name and age and can't seem to find her   I've looked her name up online and stuff I just dont know where to start. I thought when youre a certain age that where you were adopted from could tell you stuff?

do you know if there is a way I could start looking for them? I don't know any of their information but I would like to try and find them so I have something to tell doctors if my son ever geys sick or something. If that makes sense...

Do you have your adoption papers. You should have legal papers that your birth mother signed that might help you start looking. The court will sign them over to you at age 18. Thats what I did.

I would start with trying to get names and DOB. We started in vital records with names, and then found birth dates, and then started on google. It was hard. It took me months to find my birth mom.

no they are both underage and its not worth me dealing with the drama of the mother to speak to them.

dang, that stinks. I found out I had a younger sister. We are close now. We are less than 2 years apart with children the same age. Maybe one day.... thats harder when they are younger. My siblings from my birth dad was all young. The youngest I believe is 3. WEIRD!

im not sure if its the same or not but when I placed my daughter I had to sign a paper allowing them to put me in the adoption registry (ill look for it and post a link) so that if we ever lost touch(its an open adoption) and she wanted to find me they have my name birthdate and address at the time of placement. If you have any adoption papers you could contact the lawyer she went through they are usually tons of help

now they require a lot more.... back then (20 or so years ago) the legal papers were a joke, and nothing was required besides her to sign them. My DOB was even listed different on different papers. It was crazy to see. Kind of a joke.
