Tampons

I didn't know where I should post this...so I thought maybe here would be best since we have all had our babies already...
After you have the baby I know you have to use pads for awhile, but when can you start using tampons again...I had my baby 13 days ago and was just wondering...I hate pads! They feel like diapers! Anyone know?

I honestly think they tell you not to use tampons until you see your doc 6 weeks after delivery. i'd wait until your first period... I couldn't even think of putting a tampon up there right after my kids were born. i definately waited.

I am not having a 6 week pp check up...he told me to come in at 4 weeks...I dont even feel like I have had a kid!! It's amazing really because with my first I was still in pain at my 6 week check up and with this one I feel like I could run laps or something!

Don't quote me...but I think you have to wait at least until your 4-6 week follow up appointment with your OB/GYN. I would call your doctor and check with them. I hope all is going well for you. Congratulations on your little one!

lol i dont know why i am so icky about them because i had a c-section so i wasnt sore down there at all. but i think i am kind of tramatized because i feel like my vajayjay is still 10 cm dialated and it will fall out!!!!!! lol even though i know it wont...some mental issues lol.
