re: JULY MOMMY'S POST YOUR BUMP PICS

Just wanted to check in on the July mommies. I haven't been online in awhile, haven't had the internet. My little Isabellah turned 6 weeks old on Wednesday. The last time she was weighed which was over a week ago she was 9lbs 4oz, a big difference from her 6lbs 2oz birth weight. How are all the other babies doing?

I'll post an updated pic of my little one in a bit, I'm doing like 10 different things right now

Carson is a month old today and is a whopping 11 and a half pounds! He's great and I can't imagine life without him now. I'll post pics tomorrow, right now I'm enjoying the fact that he's sleeping!

Joey is doing wonderful! He turned 8 wks yesterday! He hasn't been weighed in almost 2 wks but he was 9lbs 11oz then so I'm sure he's over 10lbs now! We finally got him on a schedule which is the greatest thing EVER!! he goes to bed every night by 9 and has been sleeping for 7hrs before waking up for his first feeding. I'm dumb though and still not going to bed til 11 so it's not helping me much but I do get some time to myself at night. For being a breastfed baby though, he's doing great at night! Here are a few pics from the last couple wks.

ok ladies i have finally got time today so here is my labor story. well i went to the doctor for my last doctor visit wed the 23rd and i was about 3 cm and almost completely effaced and the doctor said that i would most likely give birth within the next couple of days but since my insurance waas running out we dicided that we would be induced the very next day. i was so nervous because it would only be a few hours until i had my baby. well i went to the hospital at 5am by 6 they had me hooked up to everything and broke my water. i had decided to try not to get the epidural and did very good but around 9am i was about 6 cm and was stuck in the bed and couldnt stand the pain so i told them to give me some drugs lol the doctor took forever (it seemed like lol) he stuck me once and it didnt take so he had to stick me again which i really didnt like and apprently the first time i had some spinal fluid leak (or something like that) so i would have to keep the epi in all night long. well about noon i was 10 cm and started pushing. i did good for a little while and then he got stuck in the birth canal for almost 3 hours. i finally got his head almost all the way there and they called the doctor in and with like 3 pushes he was out with the assistance of the sucker thing. at 3:02pm he was born. he was 8lbs and 10 oz and was 20" long.

Congrats! He's a cutie. Carson was 8lb10oz too, but 22in long. He's 11.5 lbs at 4 weeks though.....

so cute. well today i weighted myself and i was at 151lbs and then i held him and weighted myself and it said 162 so i figure he is about 10 to 11 lbs and he will be 4 weeks tomorrow

oh and to add to my labor story after they got the 2nd epidural in the doctor forgot to turn the pump on so at 8cm i felt EVERYTHING and they came back in and gave me another shot and by the time i started to feel numb again it was pushing so thank god for that. but i have a question for the moms that did get the epidural. were yall able to tell when you were having a contration? cause i did. it didn't really hurt but i knew i having them. i didn't know if it was where the epidural wore off or what

I had 2 failed epi's I felt all contractions an through the pushing!!!
29 total hours of labor and 16 after patocin

he was born 06 07 08 he was due 07-05 he is now 12 lbs at 2 months

I couldn't really tell what was a contraction and what wasn't by the time I was pushing. I think it's because my contractions were 1-1 1/2minutes apart so it just felt like they were on top of each other. My epi stopped working around 8cm or 9 cm and they had to redose it too!

well i had told myself before hand that if they didnt get it in right the first time that i wouldnt get another one but i was hurting too bad butwhen he was putting the second one it i told myself that if he messed that one up that was it. i was just too worried that they were going to mess up and i would get paralized

I didn't get restuck, just got a new bag of drugs hung up so it wasn't bad.

I felt the contraction with my epi when I hit 9cm and soon after they checked me I was at 10cm so I really don't know how long I was at 9 before they started to hurt! I felt them all through pushing but I never really felt the urge to push. I was so sick of the pain that when the Dr asked if I felt the urge to push I said yeah! And good thing I did because he saw the head right away (even though he still didn't come out for another hour and a half!)
