very faint positive and negative tests???

Unsure of what to think...I took a HPT on Christmas Eve and got a very faint positive and it looked exactly the way the HPT did when I took one when I thought that I was preggo with my daughter. But took an another one on Christmas afternoon and it was negative, then I took another using FMU on the 26th and at the 10 minute point you could see an even fainter barely there line when you look at it in a bright room but it almost looks negative cause you really have to look close to see it. I did go to the doc and they did a UA and it came up negative for them but she said to wait two weeks and test again. So I don't know what to think. Has that ever happened to anyone before? Could I actually be pregnant? Cause if I am I wouldn't be very far along like 3 wks almost 4 wks. The HPT's that I took when I found out I was pregnant with my kids I took them both when I was 5 wks with my daughter and 6 wks along with my son, the test I took with my daughter was a faint positive and the test with my son was a bright positive. So I don't know what to think. I don't evenknow when to expect AF to show causeit use to be every 31 days before I had my daughter but my last one was 45 days apart, so I don't know if I should wait tillday32 (12/29/07) or till day 46 (01/12/0  to test again. I have two tests left. Waiting is so frustrating as I'm sure quite a few of us knows. But I appreciate any thoughts that anyone has on this. Pregnant or not pregnant? Day 32 or day 46 or both? Has this ever happened to anyone else? Thanks everyone!!

A faint positive is still positive.I took one 11 days after my ovulation day when we were trying, and saw a barely visible faint line. It was positive, I went and had my first blood test that day. My husband had me do a digital one later that day, he didn't want to wait even one day for the doctor to call. The digital one was positive  

Well still don't know for sure or not if I'm pregnant I sure hope that I am but yet I don't want to get my hopes up cause I don't want to end up disappointed yet again. But they do say that it is possible that I could be pregnant but I won't know for sure till at least Wednesday, I went in and had blood drawn today and with New Years and everything I end up having to wait 4 or 5 days to find out. Its frustrating I so badly wanna know now. On top of that so many people have told me to just stop trying and that it will happen then. Well this month during the time that I was suppose to be ovulating we were so busy with getting ready for christmas that we didn't get to do very much BD'ing. I mean out of the possible six days that my ovulation chart said I would possibly be ovulating we only BD'ed the day b4 the 6 days, once on day 4 of the 6 days and the last day. So I was actually thinking that we probably missed it and that we wouldn't get a BFP this month but then I took that test and got a very faint positive and was excited that we actually might have succeeded but then after taking that test the next day and getting a negative I wasn't so sure. Now I'm just waiting on the blood work hopefully it comes back with a number greater then 6, if I remember correctly that it needs to be above a 6 to be pregnant. So I'm keepin' my fingers crossed and prayin' that it comes back with a number bigger then 6. Well thanks for listening to me vent my frustrations.
